FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE - The DOGON Tribe

Preamble: How old is our civilization? The answer to this question keeps changing over the last 2,000 years and will continue to change as we learn more and more about “our past”. One thing is clear – our “civilization” isn’t the first to have existed on this planet.

Just how many civilizations existed before us? The “oldest” civilization that is widely accepted at this time is the Sumerian which is believed to have existed around 4000 BC. Not everyone agrees though since several other pieces of “history” are not accounted for. The giants mentioned in the bible, the “fluvial” erosion in the body of the Sphinx in Egypt that could not have occurred before 10,000 BC, the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis (6:4) who took earthy women for wives who gave birth to the “giants”, the Anunnakis - believed to have created humans by altering ape’s DNA and ruled over earth for over 400,000 years plus the recent discovery of a 700,000-Year-Old Stone Tools found in the Philippines used to butcher a Rhino.

History as we know it is incomplete and convoluted with mythology. But advances in technology is allowing us to separate history from myths.

Who or what created us and for what purpose? I think this is the ultimate riddle that sentient beings like us should strive to get an answer for. Imagine that you woke up one day with no memory of who you are. Would you not spend the rest of your life finding out who you really are, who your parents were, whether you have a family etc.? In a way, this is what happened to us. We forgot. Or maybe something tricked us to forget our true nature and our rightful place in the universe.

It is clear that "higher knowledge" has been deliberately hidden from us for thousands of years. Therefore, you and me are beholden to uncover and bring this information out to enlighten the world. To end the battle between knowledge and ignorance. To free us from the obstruction caused by established dogmas and lies; for this knowledge could lead us to a greater understanding of our universe and of ourselves.

One of the most amazing sources of evidence of our ancestors coming from the stars is the history of the Dogon Tribe of Africa. The Dogons live in the central plateau region of Mali in Africa and their culture is known for its detailed, colorful, and meaningful art and tribal customs. What's fascinating about this tribe is their ancient, accurate cosmology and the legends of their ancestors from the Sirius constellation.

For centuries, the Dogons successfully managed to remain isolated from neighboring influences as well as from capture by Islamic slave traders. Their cultural, oral and written history stayed miraculously intact. What they kept hidden from the rest of the world is quite amazing.

You see, the Dogons have a cave in their lands that stretches back into the mountain. The walls of this cave are replete with arts and drawing that the Dogon consider sacred. The cave is guarded by the holy man of the tribe who sits at the entrance of the cave 24/7. In fact, this is his lifetime job. They feed him and takes care of him but no one can touch him or come close to him. And when he dies, another holy man takes his place.

One of the knowledge possessed by the Dogon tribe that baffles scientists is about the start called Sirius. Sirius A is a star close to the Orion's belt and this star is very bright. The drawing in the Dogon's cave clearly shows that there is a dwarf start rotating around Sirius A. This star, however, isn't visible to the naked eye.

The Dogons have very specific knowledge about this draft star. They say that it's very very old and it's very small and is made out of what they call the heaviest matter in the universe. They also know that it takes about 50 earth years for this small star to rotate around Sirius A. We now call this dwarf star Sirius B.

The existence of Sirius B was not known in the scientific community until 1844 when scientists detected a gravitational force that causes Sirius A to wabble. And it wasn't until it was photographed by a large space telescope in 1970 that we came to visually verify Sirius B's existence.

Scientists then began to check how much it weighs to confirm the Dogon's claim that it is made out of the heaviest matter in the universe. The first calculation that was made about 40 years ago was 2,000 pounds per cubic inch which qualify for a very heavy matter. The latest weight calculation, however, using more advanced instruments puts the weight to 1.5 million tons per cubic inch! To understand how heavy this star is, if you put a cubic inch on earth, it would go right through anything you put it on and would bore a whole until it reaches the center of the earth.

The scientists also checked the rotational pattern of Sirius B around the bigger Sirius A. What they found is that it takes exactly 50.1 years for this dwarf star to complete one loop around its bigger companion. Now, with a difference of 0.1 years, is not coincidental for the Dogon tribe to know this number. It's too close and too factual to be dismissed as a wild guess. So how did an ancient primitive tribe know such detailed information about a star that we came to know only in the 20th century?

The Dogons also know of the planets in our solar system including Neptune and Pluto even though we discovered them only in the 1846 and 1930. They can also describe how these planets look like when approached from space which we confirmed only in the 20th century. They also knew of the red and white blood cells and many other physiological information about the human body that science didn't know until fairly recently. All of this scientific information from a primitive tribe!

The scientific team that was sent to the Dogon tribe asked how they knew all of these, and they replied that the drawings on the walls of their cave showed them. The drawings also show a flying saucer- a very familiar shape to us - coming out of the sky and landing on three legs. Then it shows the beings from the craft making a big hole in the ground, filling it with water, jumping out of the ship into the water, and coming up to the edge of the water and started communicating to the Dogons. They described where they came from and shared all the information that the Dogons now knows.

The scientists just sat there listening to the Dogons' story and at the end of the conversion, they shook their heads and said "No. We did not hear that"!

Allow me to conclude this post with an anecdote:

"One night, a drunk man staggered around the lamppost. A police officer arrives and asked him: “What are you doing here?”. The man replied, “I’m looking for my keys”. The police officer started looking for the keys and did not find any, so he asked him “But where did you lose your keys?“. The man replied,“ Ah, that I do not know…” “ So why then are you looking here?” the police asked. “Because I can see better here.” , the man replied.

Science works the same way. It searches where it knows best. Where things can be tested in laboratories. Where observations can be repeated. It is not involved in anything that is outside of this "pool of light". Unfortunately, for a lot of scientists, only the things under the lamppost exist. If science cannot see it, it simply does not exist. We can qualify what is real and true only on that which can be observed and demonstrated. All discoveries that challenge what we already know are willingly cast aside.
