30 Day Creative Post Challenge - Day 23 “Pets are family too.....”

Introduction

I ran into this challenge started by @bkdbkd , it is a challenge where you are 'challenged' to post every day for a period of 30 days with a pre-defined subject in a rule-sheet. I first saw the challenge in a post from @s3rg3 . I thought it was nice idea, first for writing about different stuff everydat, but second to be part a chainreaction on steemit :)

This day I post a bit earlier, cause tomorrow we are driving towards Austria so from the car it is more difficult to post 😊

So let’s start with day 23

Do you like pets? Do you have any? What are their names or how would you call them if you have…. ?

Do you like pets?

Yes I do like pets a lot. When my wife and I didn’t had any kids we got our first dog, Bo. He was a black Labrador retriever and was the greatest dog you could imagine. In the beginning we had a lot to do with him (we got him when he was already 7 months) but boy did I love that dog. When we had to put him to sleep because he was to ill to live on, our heart was broken.

Years after Bo we decided to take a Labrador retriever again, but then as a puppy. We called him “Ozzy” after my idol Ozzy Osbourne. He was also an awesome dog, we and the kids had a lot of fun with him. He was a real hug dog… The kids where crazy about him. Too bad when we had to put him asleep also way to early…. We were devastated… Such a pain, such a missing… One night at the camping in our caravan Sam (our youngest said) ‘Dad look trough the window, up in the sky. You see that star, that’s Ozzy looking at us’…. I had to leave the caravan as quick as I could, tears in my eyes….

What are their names?

Nowadays we have a rabbit, his name is ‘Snoopy’. It’s the rabbit of Sam and it is a cute little fellow..
