Hi, its @livinguktaiwan here. You may have read from @martibis edition of Travel Digest a few day ago about us taking a hiatus next week so this is the penultimate edition for a little while. Make sure to check out his edition of the #traveldigest tomorrow before we go on a break.

#1 Travel with me to the mystical land of Narnia: Edmonton Ice Castle
Today's first featured post is from @ladybug146 who takes us on a journey to an ice wonderland in Edmonton, Canada. The site took about 8 to 10 weeks to build and uses water from the local river which is afterwards treated at the water treatment plant and returned to the watershed, so the whole project seems very sustainable. There were some crazy ice slides there as well as one that was boxed in ice and has fairy lights inside! That sounds really fun. A 45 minute visit turned into a 3 hour one because @ladybug146 wanted to wait for the colourful pixel walls to light up at night. Judging by the photos, I'd say it was worth the wait.

#2 Delicious chocolate and beautiful views from Costa Rica
@mikesthoughts stops when he sees a "Chocolate Tour" sign (so would I!!) in a small surfer town in Costa Rica, and meets a couple who happens to be from his hometowm Madison and Minneapolis who runs a hostel there. Talk of a small world! The couple are on a mission to produce artisan chocolate using local cacao beans and traditional methods. They employ local labour and even pay them double the asking wage. If that's not fair trade, I don't know what is. The chocolate tour goes through the jungle, and concludes with chocolate tasting, and mixing chocolate with different spices. And all of this is done facing the amazing view of the Caribbean coast. Costa Rica, here I come!

#3 My San Juanico Bridge Adventure
My final feature post today is from @bluesapphire06 who takes us on a drive across the San Juanico Bridge. The bridge is over 2km long, connects Leyte and Samar across the San Juanico Strait, and is the longest in the Philippines. The design of the bridge isn't straight across the strait, instead along the way it forms an S and an L to represent the two end points. These bends provides a spectacular view when driving as can be seen from the photos. Too bad you're not allowed to stop on the bridge to take photos, so I reckon if I ever go I'll be driving 20km per hour and annoy all the other drivers. Enjoy!
