Museum of beer. Lviv.

It often happens that when you go somewhere to rest, your friends ask you to bring some souvenir to the memory. But this applies to many cities and countries, but not to Lviv. Usually from Lviv asked to bring a beer as a gift, a real Lviv beer !!! That's why it is not surprising that it was in this city that a real beer museum was opened. This is the only beer museum in Ukraine, and it was opened in 2005.

There is the oldest brewery in Lviv, which started its work as far back as 1715, that's exactly where the museum is located. And when this brewery turned 290 years old, it was decided to open a museum here. Almost three hundred years here cooked the most delicious beer of different varieties.

But, the first mention of the brewery was not in 1715, but even earlier, in 1384! This year, one of the townspeople Ganko Clapper bought beer equipment and began the action of cooking a delicious drink. Henceforth the street is called Kleparnya. The brewing business was passed down from generation to generation, the descendants of Ganko were also engaged in brewing, and even one of them was once elected burgomaster of the city, that is, the head.

But let's look at this museum.
The halls with tiled equipment, with tare and various utensils are located in the basement. The factory occupies not a small area, six hundred square meters, where every tourist can look at everything with his own eyes, get acquainted with the traditions of proper beer use, get acquainted with the stage-by-stage manufacturing of this noble drink, with a recipe.

The museum also has a charter dated in 1897, this statute states that the beer preparation plant is nothing but the Lviv joint stock company of the brewers, and the notorious Robert Doms is its shareholder.
