thank you very much!! I plan to share more of these as we do more projects
Thanks for sharing the pics and the project update on the real estate flip @jorlauski. Are there still any foreclosures or short sales in Fresno up for grabs, or are you doing it through Craigslist/bandit signs?
There are still some short sales - they take a lot longer to close and have a lot of competition , but they can still be grabbed. We use many different ways to locate properties. A lot of it comes down to marketing and networking - are you interested in buying a house in Fresno?
Nice work!! It feels good to get one completed and sold, or at least in escrow. I like the flooring.
thank you! I installed the flooring myself because I wanted to get a feel for what was involved - since I'd never done it before. It was relatively easy - just need to be careful when it comes to cutting around the corners and doorways - otherwise it was fun - I learned a LOT in this particular flip. I look forward to sharing my journal with everyone when it is completed which will include pictures, videos, written explanations, and some of the major blunders we experienced throughout the project.
Looks fantastic! Great work @jorlauski! Did you get the price you were looking for?
thank you! - we got higher than our asking price - just need to make sure it can appraise for it
Awesome! That is great!
Awe soooo awesome! I'm a flipper as well and a very fresh newb here so it's been nice to find some fellow real estate junkies. It looks like you've already connected with him but @investformore has some AMAZING work. You can also see a small bit of the work I've done in my first real post linked here. I'm very new in the flip game so I'm still at that phase of learning a lot through TONS of mistakes lol but it's been a very fun and rewarding journey!
thanks for the comments - I will definitely check out your post - I am very interested in all things real estate - I even run a meetup group for newer investors and we get together once a week to discus local happening in the real estate market. I post some of our discussions here on Steemit... I hope you come back to see more of my work.
