Europe Banks: “Digital central bank money...currently not in sight"
“Digital central bank money analogous to cash is currently not in sight" says Carl-Ludwig Thiele, a board member for Bundesbank, one of the largest banks in Europe.
Though his statements are contrary to previous statements by the Bundesbank, he is now signaling a more conservative stance, warning investors
“We are seeing a rapid increase in value, which brings the risk of rapid losses.”
Though the Eurozone rejecting the concept, other countries such as Dubia and Russia are still considering a nationalized digital currency.

I suppose that when they do decide to go for digital currencies they wouldn’t be decentralized right?
I wouldn't hold your breath... decentralization to a bank is like holy water to a demon...
