One photo every day: Toadstool (86/365)

in #onephotoeveryday7 years ago (edited)

Today morning when I returned home after taking the kids to school, I noticed some toadstools in the yard. So when leaving to pick up my boys from school I brought my camera along, and shot this photo:

Toadstool
Toadstool and Lobelia

Camera body: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: Sigma ART 50 mm ƒ/1.4
Aperture: ƒ/1.4
Exposure: 1/320 s
ISO: Dual-ISO 100+200

Quite nice, eh? :)

P.s. I didn't have time to do any editing videos today after all. My father gave me a good scare by telling me on the phone that the WW3 had started. Turned out he'd watched a fake news video on YouTube and took it for real. I wasted a lot of valuable time there...

Wow, that toadstool looks like it's from a story book!! We certainly don't get those here...

A very delicate photo of tiny plant with very small flowers and leaves! Each flower is so alive and has a mind of its own with tiny destiny no matter how small. Even a little thing is important and meaningful!

This public OPED project is a very good idea. I wanna join this project right away. This photo a day will be like a diary encapsulate my momentary mood and thought. This puts more direction into my photography.
Thank you very much for this project.

Cheers.

@gamer00,
Wow that's a great photography! By the way this mushroom is a poison one correct? Thank you very much for sharing such great photography with us!

Cheers~

Thanks! And yes it is a poisonous mushroom, better not eat it.

I think the toadstool and lobelia could win #colorchallenge by itself. Nice colour of red and white. Hahaha, WW3, i dont want that at all.

Now this has to be the best shot of all time such a professional touch to it superb :D

What I like about this picture is not only the toadstool that is in sharp focus but how the texture of the ground under and in front of it is shown. It is easy to imagine the mycelium the mushroom is only a small outgrowth of.

Hahaha, sorry, dunno if it's ok to laugh here, but that WW3 anecdote... xD
