Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!

I thought I'd get a new pic that shows up on the feed to change things up:

Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery. Every upvote, comment, and share will help me out, and any straight donations would be wonderful!

Here is the picture of Floppy when he just got out of surgery and the blog started, and the pic that usually appears in the feed each day when his scar was the newest. Below it is a picture of Floppy's scar today, it's healing so well!!!!

DAY 20 UPDATE

Flop's day started off like normal with his walk. He was very anxious to get out of his cage this morning and as soon as I let him out, he went straight to his water bowl. I'm sure he was so thirsty and I wish his cage was big enough to fit a water bowl in there. I think i'm going to go to PetSmart with Vanessa this weekend and see if we can get one of those water bottles that can attach to his crate.

I love taking pictures of Flop during his walks. I couldn't find his winter coat, I was going to try and put it on him and share a photo with you all but this one from his morning walk will have to do:

After I gave him his treat, I was off to take Lucas to day care and get to work. He was in the cage until 5:45 and was super excited to see Luey and I when we got home.

His afternoon walk was somewhat adventurous. First, amazingly, we saw another dog during the walk for the first time since his surgery. We usually see dogs out all the time, but for some reason (probably because of the cold weather), we haven't seen them during our walks the past few weeks it seems. Anyhow, Flop was barking it up like a storm as he always does when he sees another dog. I tried to get some pics...Flop staring at the dog in the first pic, and I tried to capture the dog in the second...you can see the dog very vaguely being walked in the distance lol.

After the dog fiasco, Flop went to go make his poop, and for the first time since surgery, he had dingleberries! What are dingleberries you ask?!?! Well in our family, when Flop poops and it sticks to his but, we call it his dingleberries. It's pretty funny, he runs around all crazy until he eventually finds another spot and tries to aggressively poop the rest out.

So yeah, barking at a dog and dingleberries...quite the walk lol.

After that we had dinner. Flop didn't get much, but we gave him a treat, put him in his cage, and called it another great day!

We set a new high for single day vote total, 43 Votes is now the single highest day vote total!!! The payout was not great, but hopefully we'll get some good votes and donations soon. We are now up to $50.24...as the Steem price grows and the site gets more awareness, I hope that I'll be able to turn my goal into a reality!
