TIL: What happens with Christmas trees
I always wondered what happens to Christmas Trees after Christmas. Well I finally found out after January 5th you are allowed to through your Christmas Trees out onto the Sidewalk in Germany. So the commune will pick all Christmas Trees up. Very interesting isn't it?
How does it work in your country???
I am very interested to know how other countries handle this kind of stuff. Do you have to bring it somewhere or can you just through it away like seen on my picture? And yes that's snow it is frickin cold in Germany right now.. Well a bit snow is not bad sometimes :)

Here in South Africa, very few people use real treas as Christmas trees, thus we just put them back in the cupboard until next year.

In my immediate area everyone sinks Christmas trees in their lake/pond for they make good cover for smaller fish to live and breed.

Where I live in Florida, along the coast many people bury their Christmas trees in the sand dunes to help stop the beach and dune erosion.

In SW London (UK), the council collects (free of charge) Christmas trees which are then ground into wood chips and mulch.
