How Many Comments Per Day Do You Post? Why? 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day 23
Building a community requires engagement. This engagement helps create a strong connection -- building a relationship between the participants.
For example, you'll create a stronger bond with someone you talk to daily than a celebrity you watch on television. Engagement requires that both parties to interact with each other, meaning that I need to comment and interact with my community if I want to establish strong connections.
@Dragosroua is challenging Steemians to a 30-Day Writing Challenge. For day #23, he asks, "How Many Comments Per Day Do You Post? Why?" Here's my response:
How Many Comments I Post Per Day and Why
Right from the start of my Steemit journey, I tried to comment as much as possible on good posts. Most went unnoticed, but some gained a response and upvote from the author. This gave me a big boost of encouragement.

I've always tried to reply to every comment I get, which is easy since I'm still a plankton, but it gets harder each day. The more I got involved in Steemit, the more I began posting on my blog, writing for other channels, and curating articles. Spending more of my time elsewhere on Steemit forced me to cutback on the amount I comment each day, which I would guess is around 5-10 times a day.
I will never take a commenter or follower for granted, and I'll continue to try to increase my comments per day becuase I think it's extremely important -- both to reward those who are engaging with me and to build stronger connections.

My commenting game is not on point. Go from 0-30, day to day. Not as good as I want but, what I can do with the time I have
Thank you for commenting here. It will shift based on the day, just try to give value to as many people as possible and post constructively, that's all we can do really. Thanks again.
Thanks for that, will do my best 😀👍
I agree with your thinking
Thanks for the comment @ionutciobanu!
Well written, I also reply every comment I get but I usually don't write a lot of comments, I write only on the posts I really read and also because they were interesting for me, this one it is, of course, particulary in the part you say you are a plankton, lol. Greetings, I'll follow your steps and I'll write more comments!
Thank you! Yeah, same here with the posts I read. I think we should all try to increase our comments. They mean something to the people who put time and care into their post.
Good stuff man... I'm like you, I pulled back from so much commenting but still around 5-10 a day. I go in spurts. I might comment 20 in a day and five the next couple of days. I always try to reply to those on my blog. I upvote every reply too... that isn't a bot. Good luck in the challenge.
