"Where Do You See Yourself On Steemit In 5 years?" 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day 16

Have you ever visited a place for the first time and immediately felt like you've already been there? Or have you ever met someone and you knew within a minute that this person would always be a part of your life?

It sounds cheesy, but I feel this way about Steemit. I'm just five months into my journey here on Steemit, and I know that this journey isn't going to end anytime soon. This is a special place that I'm very glad I found, and that I plan to be a part of for years to come.

@Dragosroua is challenging Steemians to a 30-Day Writing Challenge. For day #16, he asks, "Where Do You See Yourself On Steemit In 5 years?" Here's my response:

Where I See Myself on Steemit in 5 Years

As you can tell from my introduction in this post, I obviously plan on still being a part of Steemit in 5 years. However, as @dragosroua discusses in his post on the topic, interests change and the entire cryptocurrency market will change drastically in the next five years.

However, I see a lot of opportunities in continuing to contribute regularly to Steemit and other blockchain-based organizations. I think it's realistic to believe that writers and content creators like you and me may be able to support ourselves and make a decent living on these platforms, and I think that could be where my current efforts lead me.

In 5 years, I hope to be swimming in Steem Power (20,000+) and have 10,000+ followers. Hey, I can dream, can't I? I want to be known for being helpful, adding value to my followers and other Steemians, and constantly providing quality content that people genuinely want to read, watch, and listen to.
