This week we have a very interesting painting of a Steemit artist, @nature.sauvage! She took part with this painting in one of my ARTstyleARt contests and I suggested taking part in Artquest! And I am very happy that she agreed! And she will be the judge! I really like the idea when the artists themselves choose the best interpretations to their paintings.
THEME FOR ARTCHALLENGE #16 is to give an interpretation to a surreal painting of @nature.sauvage
Little story why that painting was made.
This painting took part in one of my ARTstyleARt contests the theme of which was Surrealism and Frida Kahlo's painting "A Few Small Nips"
This is an extract from my post about Frida:
The romance of Kahlo and Rivera finished with a wedding. She was 22
and he was 43. They had common interests not only in painting but they
had the same communists ideals.Her paintings tell that Diego was constantly in her mind. She
expressed the relation with Diego in her paintings.
Rivera loved women and cheated on Frida. She knew that but couldn't do
anything. She wrote: "I suffered two grave accidents in my life. One
in which a streetcar knocked me down.....The other accident is Diego."
The most tragic painting in her life with the sarcastic name is "A Few
Small Nips".
Over years she was adding blood spots to the painting and the frame.
Painting "A Few Small Nips" is the strongest painting I have ever seen that it is why I chose it for that contest.
And @nature.sauvage painted the above mentioned painting. But I think she painted not only Frida, she painted me, you and other people. When I saw the painting I recognized myself. We all have tragedies in our lives. Those tradegies are different but they influence on that.
On @nature.sauvage 's painting I see the woman who not only survived but became stronger. And I think the slogan "What doesn't kill you, make you stronger" is the slogan for this painting.
Thank you, dear, @nature.sauvage for this painting which tells that there are bad days. But nothing is eternal. And that there will be good times in spite of anything.

Je ne sais pas si je devrais faire ce commentaire tout de suite ou attendre la fin du challenge... mais ce que je vis est tellement fort que j'ai envie d'en parler tout de suite! Je m'excuse si cela est innaproprié du a ma condition de juge...
Je suis tellement reconnaissante de vivre cette expérience!!! C'est la première fois qu'une de mes oeuvres est interpretée ainsi par des gens et je n'ai pas de mots pour décrire ce que je vis actuellement en lisant les interprétations qui ont été soumises jusqu'ici!!! C'est reversant de voir comment mes émotions, mes intentions, mon imagination et mes perceptions sont communiquées par mon dessin et ressenties par les gens qui le voient. Je n'avais jamais réalisé à quel point l'art pouvait être un moyen de communication car jusqu'ici je n'avais jamais vraiment composé une oeuvre; la nature est si belle et parlante que je m'étais toujours contentée de la reproduire dans mes dessins tel que je la voyait avec mes yeux, sans laisser aller mon imagination, sans tenter de communiquer quelque chose, bref sans laisser mon coeur et mon âme parler. Ce dessin est un des premiers où je me suis permise de m'exprimer sur un sujet. Merci @aksinya pour m'avoir offert la chance de vivre cette expérience enrichissante et transformatrice. Je me sens comme une chenille qui devient un papillon, pleine de nouvelles possibilités et c'est à vous tous, les participants de ce challenge, que je dois cette prise de conscience. Merci d'être là, d'être vous, et au plaisir de lire les autres entrées d'ici la fin du challenge. Cela va être très difficile de juger et de choisir les meilleures interprétations...

I am so grateful to experience this experience !!! This is the first time that one of my works has been so interpreted by people and I have no words to describe what I am currently living and feeling by reading the interpretations that have been submitted so far !!! It is reversing to see how my emotions, my intentions, my imagination and my perceptions are communicated by my drawing and felt by the people who see it. I had never realized how art could be a means of communication because until now I had never really composed a work; Nature is so beautiful and speaking that I always contented myself with reproducing it in my drawings as I saw it with my eyes, without letting go my imagination, without trying to communicate something, in short without leaving my heart and soul speak. This drawing is one of the first ones where I allowed myself to express myself. Thank you @aksinya for offering me the chance to experience this enriching and transforming experience. I feel like a caterpillar that becomes a butterfly, full of new possibilities and it is up to you all, the participants of the challenge, that I owe this awareness. Thank you for being here, for being you, and for the pleasure of reading the other entries by the end of the challenge. It will be very difficult to judge and choose the best interpretations ...
