Sure many of have been there, but what was your experience? We rolled into DC and this was a first for everyone except @despool who was present for the 2012 inauguration of Barrack Obama. We had no real plans other than to do all of the touristy American things like visitng the monument. I wanted to ensure that we did not have a far trek, so I booked a room at the historic Hay-Adams Hotel located at 800 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20006. Don't know the history of the Hay-Adams? YOU CAN FIND IT HERE. That put us literally across the street from the White House by 100 yards. Sure staying across street from the White House is cool, but what about getting unfettered access... I shook a couple of hands, made a a few calls, and was able to get secret service to escort @Despool, Devdan, and I to the roof for a photo opportunity.
