May 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day Twenty: Who Was The First User You Followed On Steemit? Why?

Who Was The First User You Followed On Steemit? Why?
I'm sure many of you don't remember this, but I think it's a nice exercise anyway. I'm also not sure that I'm remembering it correctly, but I'll do my best (although you can use a blockchain explorer to find the first "follow" operation of an account, I'm too lazy to do it - it's a very lazy Sunday in my part of the Universe, and I kinda surrendered to it).
So, I guess the first user I followed on the Steemit blockchain was either @wadepaterson or @ned. Wade, because he was the one who invited me here, by interviewing me on his "20 questions" series, and @ned because, well, he upvoted that interview and Wade told me he was "one of the big shots there".

First person I ever followed was @someguy123 and then the second was @timcliff. I used the anonsteem to purchase my account and first post I saw on the network was by Tim. Two great guys that do a lot for the platform.
On a side note, still waiting all this time for you to hit the follow button on my name Drago haha
Just post at the right time and you can get 20+ bots following you (maybe need to start slow, with one or two each post, but then the snowball effect)
Just got 23 new "followers" in less seconds. All youtube video plagiarist bots sigh
haha I'm not really worried about my follower count, more worried about the quality of the followers and how well they interact. 100 solid followers who constantly engage and interact is better than 5000 bots and spam accounts
Yes, I know.
I heavily parited my 200th follower. Took about a year? Then 2 month later there were 500, but I didn't do a party and giveaway to my followers. Because the last 200 of then were in 2 weeks or so when I wasn't even very active.

Haha I know what you’re saying. I get notifications of at least 10 new followers a day from @ginabot but the large majority are new accounts or bots. But every once in a while I get a solid user. Just have to keep going about my business

To be very honest I don't remember it at all and I don't wanna lie.
I don't remember whom I followed first.
You can check it on Steemd.
Just scroll down, click on the last page and you will find it.
