Recently @starkerz made a blog about iCoinSummit held in Cyprus where they presented Steem Blockchain to the audience. How they pitched the idea of #Promo-Steem and attracted so many potential investors looking to invest in Steem. They explained the applications of our Multi-Proof-Of-Brain CAMPUS up-voting system. And also the concept of Oracles through a new venture called @oracle-d that can bring more opportunities for Steemians.

This video has the presentation given by @anarcotech and @starkerz on @oracle-d. Their new venture that brings in potential investors and content creation opportunities for many people on STEEM. This initiative will add on so much value to the blockchain in the long run. It will provide a regular source of income for both the investors and the contributors.

Setup

Matt (@starkerz) and Dylan (@anarcotech) came on stage after a strong Intro. After addressing the audience, Dylan declared that this presentation is not going to be very technical. Many of us do not understand such lingo and this is where everything got very interesting. He also mentioned about an idea on how do humans interact with the blockchain and how do you inspire people for creating great things and helping each other. In the process, everyone gets rewarded. This whole idea is based on a concept called "Proof Of Brain". How they developed a system which is one step further and it is based on a superior concept called "Multi Proof Of Brain"

Confrontation

Matt took the stage with a huge round of applause and talked about the following things:

• He told about the story about getting involved with Steem and meeting Dylan. Ultimately creating Multi PoB system that made huge waves on Steem and rewarded so many users for their efforts in promoting it. That system is called #Promo-Steem.
• He invested very early in Steem like last year and explained about how Steem works. It's not too late now. Still very very early.
• Matt wanted to add value so he thought of an idea to use the blockchain that promotes itself. He mentioned some of the ideas he used at first to promote Steem like going out on the streets wearing a Steem T-shirt and telling people about it. Distribute pamphlets and go to universities to talk about it on stage. And all of this was recorded in the form of blog posts or videos. Community really appreciated the efforts and rewarded him of these.
• He wrote instructions of the tasks he did to promote Steem so that others could replicate them on their own capacity. These instructions were put in the form of blogs and so many people reacted to them.
• Next slide showed the benefits of Steem and how it is superior to other blockchains in terms of Transaction Times and Zero Transaction Fees.
• All their efforts were started to become popular and that's how Promo-Steem was invented. From their own pot Steem, they started rewarding other people doing exceptional promo-work. He showed some of the great examples of such posts.
• Ambassador Program was initiated after this. This resolved the problem of scaling this mission and centralization problem. These ambassadors were selected by community votes. They curate promo related posts and reward people. Once 3 ambassadors upvotes a post, the whole guild will reward the deserving user. Find more about it in this post
• What happened due to all this effort:

Dylan took the mic and started his presentation. Some of the things he talked about:

• Promo-Steem encouraged people to do real world work. It was unique in a way that it actually made people interact offline at such a greater scale.
• Countries like Nigeria, Indonesia, Philippines and some of the remote places of the world lots of strong communities were building. People involving in humanitarian work and voluntarily helping to support each other.
• He talked about investment into Oracle-D. Investors can delegate their Steem Power and rest of the work will be done by the system that is created. With enough Steem Power, people will be rewarded according to the value they are adding to the network and the community.
• Oracles would make sure that rewards are distributed in an incorruptible way. Anyone gaming the system will not survive because every transaction is open for everyone to see. Investor's funds will not touched as delegation will be used which is a major security factor in the system.
• He explained how Investors can setup their own projects to reward any kind of people. Dylan used an example of a famous footballer who wanted to start his football academy online, raise funds for the gear and facilities around the world for football enthusiasts. He also wanted to get some ROI on this project. This was made possible by MPoBS. In this whole process Dylan also mentioned how investors, oracles and content creators get rewarded.
• This whole concept can be used in other businesses and applications apart from humanitarian and altruistic activities.

Resolution

Matt took the mic once again and explained:

• Investor has the full control on their funds. This is not cryptocurrency trading or an ICO where users have to keep on checking their funds and required to so much of transactions on daily basis.
• Everything is transparent and you can enter or exit anytime you want.
• He also explained how the key system works on STEEM and nobody has control over the accounts or funds including them.
• The whole system run on the Blockchain with established community of members present at all times around the world. Anyone or a group of people can be a part of it. Suitable for big companies and corporations as well.

Dylan ended the presentation on a great note asking interested investors to discuss further. :) They got a wonderful response after the presentations were finished.
