"Every person who is in Christ is a new creation" ... A man went on his horse full of anger chasing the followers of the way (Christians) and suddenly a light that came from heaven enveloped him, stunned by the strong light He falls to the ground and immediately hears a voice that calls him twice by name and asks him - why are you persecuting me? - It was the voice of Jesus Christ and that man who had fallen from the horse was Saul of Tarsus, better known as the Apostle Paul (Acts 9, 1-5). The encounter with the Risen One makes us fall from the horse of pride, makes us see our mistakes and our sins, at first the fall can cause pain, but it is pain that purifies and heals, then the one who hated finds love, the one who sought sin finds holiness, he who cried finds joy, he who was hopeless, downcast, and troubled finds faith, hope, joy, and peace. "The old has passed, the new has come" ... The names "Saul" and "Paul" are in a sense the representation of the old that has passed and of the new that has come in the life of the apostle. Saul the persecutor of Christians different and opposite to Paul the apostle of Christ Jesus ... Saul has passed, Paul has arrived ... In the same way God acts in our lives, the Lord reconciles us with Him, heals us and renews us through the meeting and following of His beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. May Jesus always reign in our hearts and may we always be a faithful reflection of his love in the lives of those around us. Amen.

"Toda persona que está en Cristo es una creación nueva"... Un hombre iba en su caballo lleno de ira persiguiendo a los seguidores del camino (cristianos) y de pronto una luz que venía del cielo lo envolvió, aturdido por la fuerte luz cae al suelo y enseguida escucha una voz que le llama dos veces por su nombre y le pregunta --¿por qué me persigues?-- era la voz de Jesucristo y aquél hombre que había caído del caballo era Saulo de Tarso, mejor conocido como el apóstol Pablo (Hechos 9, 1-5). El encuentro con el Resucitado nos hace caer del caballo de la soberbia, nos hace ver nuestros errores y nuestros pecados, al principio la caída puede causar dolor, pero es dolor que purifica y sana, entonces el que odiaba encuentra el amor, el que buscaba el pecado encuentra la santidad, el que lloraba encuentra la alegría, el que estaba desesperanzado, abatido y atribulado encuentra la fe, la esperanza, el gozo y la paz. "Lo antiguo ha pasado, lo nuevo ha llegado"... Los nombres "Saulo" y "Pablo" son en un sentido la representación de lo antiguo que ha pasado y de lo nuevo que ha llegado en la vida del apóstol. Saulo el perseguidor de cristianos distinto y opuesto a Pablo el apóstol de Cristo Jesús... Saulo ha pasado, Pablo ha llegado... De la misma manera Dios actúa en nuestras vidas, el Señor nos reconcilia con Él, nos sana y nos renueva a través del encuentro y seguimiento de Su amadísimo Hijo, nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Que Jesús reine siempre en nuestros corazones y que podamos ser siempre fiel reflejo de Su amor en la vida de quienes nos rodean. Amén.
