VIKTOR Review and Gameplay Paladins

Hello guys and a good day this fine Tuesday morning.

Been playing paladins for quite a while now and it’s like am really addicted to it now, just can’t get my hands off it, probably they made the game such a way, that every time you log in the competition is always available, be it to unlock card, get new gadgets, level up and what have you.

Today will be looking at one of my favorite champion and its non-other than Viktor, yea you read it right.

Looking at him, he looks more like a mercenary a gun for hire or a high ranking officer who have gone through battle countless times and came out all victorious for each of the game, seriously this champion is really something and I just can’t find a word for it.

From the write-up and brief storyline about Viktor it says

He is the former commander of the sentinels, an elite magistrate military unit. Viktor lives in the shadow of his former glory.

It seems the last mission he went on, didn’t go as planned and he was stripped of his rank and reassigned to a lower ranking officer.

Now that is one firm soldier we have there, someone loyal to the core even after he was stripped of his ranks, demoted and made to fight alongside his juniors, but still he kept his loyalty and battle the resistance at every corner with his unparalleled skills.

Today will be looking at Viktor, the skills he uses, and the cards I normally play with it.

Although, I already made an introduction post about paladins a while back and how it was my first time playing it and it was absolutely worth downloading. You can get that post by Click Me and I will take you right there.

After activating the game Paladins a week back, I was able to unlock some exclusive equip for Viktor by linking my Facebook profile to the game, doing this provide some reward for you, probably act as an incentive to have more users.
Although, the option to always spend some bucks is available if you rather play along than linking your Facebook profile to it in order to claim certain equip.

Cards

Have been able to unlock considerable amount of cards as related to Viktor been one of the characters I use a lot, some of the cards can be gotten by unlocking reward chest box, purchasing of reward chest box, claiming of referral codes, getting a champion to a new level also unlocks new chest alongside it.

So chest provides unique card, others just your regular routine cards, each card is unique and its ability is written boldly in it, some will be able to reload ammo fast, others add more health to your given health bar, some even provide better armor to direct hit and gives you more time to fight.

Your ability to be able to select the appropriate card together will go a long way to determining the outcome of a battle be it ONSLAUGHT, TDM or what have you, it all comes down to, if you selected the right card for that mission.

Loadout

This is the menu were you are able to bring in different cards together to form a slot, which will be selected while gaming, a maximum of five cards is required from you, so you have quite amount to select.

Customize

Just like getting a new haircut, changing your war uniform and what have you, customize its really a fun menu, when you have some change to spare, you can just come to this menu and get a better customization to you champion changing his/her look.

Always good to be different.

Weapons

Viktor comes with mainly two weapon and that is a flash grenade and a rifle.

Oops I forget, if you are yet to play paladins, Viktor is actually a rifleman as is major weapon is a rifle quite deadly, fast and the scope top notch.

The options to change your weapons is available but then you need to spend some money as well, weapon goes a long way to determine the battle outcome, as each weapon comes with its own damage capability and when engage with same champion, the champion with the best weapon goes home with the trophy xd.

Spray

We have the ability to use spray while in game, leaving our trade mark in history lol, the default is a write-up saying Paladins, although the option to change this to different available ones is also available.

Gameplay

The strength of the team is each member, the strength of each member is the team
Viktor.

The card I mostly used as related to gameplay is Cardio, reason for this is the ability it gives Viktor to regenerates his health over time during hustle, so with this you don’t always need to rely on a medic or healing champion to be around before healing yourself, you just have to hustle and your health bar will increase to its default position giving you more health to battle it out.

My load out is usually warfighter, as you can see from the screenshot below, most of the cards are up and this is usually gotten when a new card is found the pre-existing one is upgraded to the new level, giving you more and better option and advantage than the previous one.

While in game, a store is provided to you where you get to spend money you accumulate during gaming, this money is used to fortify yourself, upgrade the damage your weapon does or increase your armor to withstand others weapons.

For Viktor my best purchase is Deft hands, it increases the reload speed of Viktor, the more you upgrade it, the lesser time required to reload your weapon and I find it quite interesting especially when against 1 vs 1, the ability to reload fast surely becomes necessary.

Special ability E

Upon getting to 100% bar as related to your special ability option, Viktor is able to call on an airstrike which delivers serious damage to the hostile side, but the only and major set back is that they need to be within eyesight if not upon calling them, you won’t be able to fire at anything.
