Far Cry Primal Review

Ever wanted to experience a life way back say 10,000 years BCE that’s before Christ exist?

Hello everyone, believe you are of good health today.

Let’s go back, way back say 10,000years BCE, when the mammoth still run the earth and where early men lived in cave, made fires from stone and hunt with stick, arrows and other manmade crafted materials.

Far cry has been known for an action adventure and first-person shooter game, taking the gaming society with a whole new idea with far cry 2, 3 and the rest but seems the future didn’t have much fun anymore, so they went back in time. 10,000years BCE to be specific and am telling you, things just got a whole lot crazy.

Far cry primal is centered around the stone age where player gets to hunt with bow and arrow, manmade axe and many other cool equip which am yet to try.

Our adventure today starts from the very beginning with a man named Takkar and he is a wenger.

So, you probably wondering who is a wenger, wengers are group of men/women that once rom the earth moving from places to place, hunting and protecting each other from both natural disaster and other preys which include Tigers and humans, yes you read it right humans.

A group called Udam, known to be flesh eating warriors and their master Izila master of fire so the story says, the Udam kill other humans and feed on them cannibals if I do say so myself and a sworn enemy to the wengers.

The story today begins with Takkar, the wenger I was mentioned and together with his fellow wengers they seek for food and by food, I mean hunting of mammoth, they walk slowly and fast looking for the youngest to hunt as the big is too much of a challenge.

Quickly, follow me Takkar said Dalso and together we moved past some old mammoth, crunching along the way unnoticed as we move pass them, looking for the youngest. Just some few distances away we found a young mammoth and he/she was quite close to a big one.

Waiting for the others to separate the young from the old with the use of fire, which soon walked, and the young was soon left alone.

Quickly, we advance towards him and he soon ran forward to an Isolated space which made it all the easier to hunt him, Dalso with a bow and arrow together with other wengers and myself with a spear we soon shoot at him from all direction. The mammoth was strong as it took some time to finally come down.

Advancing forward to skin it and scavenge what we could found him, down came a new danger with a loud roar behold it was a tiger and it was not friendly.

Stand your ground said Dalso which we soon regret.

The first wenger attacked it with a spear and he met his death instantly to the jaws of the Tiger, gazing at us and knowing we were next, all we could do was move backward but it all came to an end when we were just at the edge of a hill.

The tiger soon pounces on us and down we went rolling along the way hitting all sort of woods and stone that came our way and we finally came to a halt.

I survived the fall but Dalso not so much, as he was seriously injured all over and the injury were quite critical. He soon passed away but before leaving he spoke to me and made me promised him to find our lost brothers of the wenger clan and also a city called Oros.

Now Oros was a safe haven for the wenger people back then, they all came together, lived together fought together and truly it was a time of peace but still some wenger were yet to locate Oros and all its promises.

Upon giving his last speech, he soon passed away leaving behind a wish and his hand bead probably as a form of identity to all wengers.

Putting him to rest and time to move on, some distance away lies danger in form of a tiger and the city Oros but to get there we need a weapon and also food to heal as we were badly injured from the last encounter.

Quickly, I move out in search of tools to make a weapon and our first weapon on the list is a bow and the requirements are: Alder wood, Reeds and Slate together when joined could be used in making a bow and arrow which is quite deadly when shot to the right spot.

Moving forward, we soon found all the required tool and our bow and arrow was crafted few minutes later, didn’t take much time as all we had to do was locate the Inventory and craft which came out quite okay.

Now, our weapon is ready and time to hunt for some food, now one of the best part about the wenger is their hunting skill.

They can detect things very easy by tracking with their hunter eye. A somewhat green view that’s able to separate colors quite easily and give warm object a separate and harsh color, quite handy especially at night.

Moving out, we soon arrived at a heard of goats where they were grazing from the nearby bushes, seems we were yet to be noticed as we advance forward, closer to the packer, slowly, calmly and hungry xd.

We brought our bow out and the arrow was soon attached to it aiming at the goat, closely to the neck for better and more damage, we took our shoot and the goat soon fell to the floor dead in an instant. Quickly we moved towards it and the meat and skin was extracted from it, we soon had our fill and the hunger was gone, also healing our wound alongside.

It was already night at time to rest, we quickly advance to a nearby cave, light some woods to scare all animals away but something immediately caught our attention, an arrow just some distance away from the fire and it seemed to belong to a wenger.

The story continues on our next chapter till then stay safe and do try the game out as it is worth every minute can’t wait to find out what happened next.
