A few weeks ago I signed up to a two day ‘crash course’ in Property Investing. Even though it was a free course, I was almost not going to go as the timing wasn’t great.

Property investing is something I’m looking to do towards the end of the year. Also this course was in danger of derailing my transformation. However I was determined that was not happening.

Today, Day one of the course, was a twelve hour session. 9am to 9pm. However I was determined to get a workout in. So I got up extra early and went for a 5k job. It has been awhile since I did some running however the great thing about hitting the road is you can do it at anytime. You don’t need to wait for the gym to open or travel. You just put on your running shoes and go.

I like to look at it a 5k run as simply running 15 minutes away from home and running back again. A 30 minute 5k is pretty leisurely and a low intensity cardio session is a great way to start a long day.

I had my usual breakfast of x1 egg, x5 egg whites, porridge, blueberries and hazelnut, then set off to the course.

For lunch I decided to load up on a protein packed Nandos. I was determined not to snack during the day and I didn’t. In fact from lunchtime I fasted all the way to the following morning. My stomach was full and my head was lost in the course so I didn’t think of food. When I got home it was late, so I just chilled out for a bit and went to bed.

Good job too. My Nandos meal was over 1600 cals. Almost a days worth of food in one sitting. I even woke up the next day on a full stomach, so I decided to try and go for a 24 hour fast. I hadn’t done one of those in a while and the way I was feeling, I could tell it wouldn’t be difficult to resist eating for a few more hours.
