For the last couple of weeks I’ve been pretty regimented in my eating however today I had to do a little shopping after my workout session and I found myself straying into a Nandos.
To be honest, I never used to like Nando’s much in the past. However as far as fast food good it’s one of the least worse options. Primarily because I can pack man meal with loads of protein and have either rice or sweat potato with peas as a side. It doesn’t ‘feel’ like junk food.
I can even go pretty low calories by only opting for a 1/4 chicken, like I did today.
Nando’s is growing on me and with a two day conference coming up tomorrow and Saturday I find myself looking for a branch close to the venue. While I could prep some food and take it in Tupperware boxes, I find that rarely works for me. It turns food into too much of a chore. All that prep to find yourself faced with the prospect of wolfing down a cold salad. I’d much rather eat out and manage my daily intake to ensure I’m still in a calorie deficit.
