Afternoon Donut Lovers!

I mentioned yesterday about how I love to have donuts at the weekend. This is the second donut I had.

Chocolate Sprinkles

A ringed donut with colourful sprinkles and chocolate icing.

I don’t normally go for a ringed donut at the weekend, I like to make a pig of myself and have three filled donuts. This one I’ve bypassed for a long time, so I decided to give it a go. This donut it Krispy Kreme’s signature ringed donut with a chocolate and sprinkle topping. The donut as always is spongey and sweet with the glaze. The chocolate is nice and the sprinkles really give this donut a bite. I do find this donut a little bit sweet. I feel it is too sugary with the glaze, chocolate and the sprinkles. I don’t think I could eat three of the Chocolate Sprinkle donuts. I think it might turn me diabetic!

Overall this is still a nice donut. Probably one to have with a strong cup of tea or coffee. I have noticed Krispy Kreme do change up the Chocolate Sprinkles for some of their seasonal special donuts. In my view, they don’t change it up enough. They tend to only change the colour of the 100’s and 1000’s. I think I might swerve this one for a while. However, I wouldn’t say no to this donut if it was offered to me or the last one on the planet. I could never say no to a Krispy Kreme!
