A journey into the unknown. Planet Argon. New meeting... Part I

Before we began to decline to the planet Ergan, red, the commander of the ship, requested permission to land and invited all passengers to take their seats.

Many of our team went to their quarters. We settled into seats right on the bridge, fortunately, the captain was good to us.

I loved that chair, as a living, "feel" my body, gently enveloped him, protecting you from unexpected bumps that could occur when possible shaking of the ship or from any random faults in his work.

Relaxed I became all eyes to observe the changing picture in the window of the porthole. At first, nothing particularly interesting, I have not seen the cloud, a flash of electrical discharge - it was for me already a familiar sight.

When a layer of cloud remained far behind, in front of me opened a wonderful panorama of the planet: washed by the great oceans, the land on which here and there towered the mountains, stretched a valley covered with greenery.

As soon as the ship descended to the planet's surface, became more and more prominent contours of the major cities around the globe quite a heap.

We followed with great interest looked at us approaching the unknown, the mysterious and beautiful world where we were lucky enough to get. I was looking forward to the moment when I could step back to earth, see a lot of new and interesting things...

Another few minutes... and we exit the spaceship and go through the terminal interplanetary spaceport.

Once in a huge, mirrored waiting room, we saw a fairly large delegation of representatives of the government of this planet, who met us.

It flattered my pride. Wow, we seem to be honored and welcome. Wonder Arthur was so worried, I told him he shouldn't cheat yourself ahead of time. As always, I was right!

The commander of our detachment ordered his assistants to do Luggage and accommodation in the hotel, and several crew members, including himself and me with Arthur, followed the delegation who met us.

Together with us were, of course, and the commander of the ship on which we arrived, his assistant and a few crew members, with whom we did not even have time to get acquainted.

Having left on a small take - off platform where there were some small aircraft-gliders, something resembling the look of the big terrestrial dragonflies. The walls, floor and ceiling were made of some transparent material, which gave its passengers a full view from all sides.

Divided into groups of five people, we are conveniently located in the chairs of one of the "dragonflies". We were escorted by a guide, call it so, I pressed some lever, and a moment later we were high above the ground.

Top in front of us opened a view of the wonderful city with tall modern buildings, some of which, like huge arrows were directed upwards. It seemed that they were about to break away from the surface of the planet and wash up towards the stars.

Our flight did not last long. Soon after, we landed on the roof of one of the impressive size buildings, then went down the high-speed Elevator and went out into a spacious hall, where we were met by the Secretary of the head of the ergan planetary administration.

She warmly welcomed us and held us in a large conference room, where at a long table we were expected by members of the government headed by the President of the planet Ergan, Mr. Riddick Ernst.

After we all sat down in comfortable chairs, a conference began, during which we exchanged the information we know about the planet from where we came to the information about the planet that sheltered us at the moment.

In addition, we briefly discussed important issues related to our stay on this planet, made a preliminary plan of study tours, leaving more specific preparation for specialists.

The official part, fortunately, did not last long, after which we were invited to the Banquet hall, where we already informally continued acquaintance and communication with new acquaintances.

Time passed quickly, the evening came and we said goodbye to hospitable hosts.

When we returning from a meeting, flew to the hotel where we had reserved the room, we caught sight of even more colorful and spectacular picture.

Above the city in the starry sky we saw two planets, one of which was gigantic in size, and a small satellite like our moon.

• What beauty... - I muttered in astonishment.
• And why do we not see these luminaries, when approached your planet? I asked red.
• We just flew when they were on the other side from us, he replied. - Tomorrow I will organize for you a sightseeing tour, where you will learn briefly about our star and planetary system. There will be a desire to learn more - I can organize a visit to the Observatory and planetarium, and also have the opportunity to visit the scientific library, where you can study in detail the maps of the starry sky, everything that was discovered by our scientists astronomers.
• So far, I think you need to relax at the hotel. I'm sure your Luggage has already been delivered. Tomorrow afternoon, I'll pick you up, and in two or three days, I'll be glad to see you at home. I will introduce you to my family and close friends. At the same time, look how we live. By the way, I got a surprise for you, I hope, enjoyable.

With these words he quickly left, so we decided not to ask him, what interesting promises us this visit.

By this time we were already in the hotel lobby. After receiving the keys, we went up to our room and saw that the Luggage was really waiting for us.

A couple of hours we were busy that disassembled and laid out on the shelves of their belongings, sorting them separately along the way. What was directly in our expedition, posted separately.

We decided to pack the cargo for further transportation the next morning, and in the meantime took a shower and went to bed.
