Poem no.76 : Marijuana

As I'm part of the Italian community on Steemit, and some of my Italian followers don't speak english, all my poems will also be written in Italian, the Italian version might be a bit different due to the rhymes, but the idea expressed in the poem will be almost the same.

Some people use it just for fun
Others use it as a cure,
It never killed anyone
But sometimes makes you unsure.

In some countries it's a drug
While in others, it's a medicinal plant,
Your son smokes it to be a thug
While the kid that truly needs it, can't.

It slows the Alzheimer's disease
And, if smoked, spurs creativity in the brain,
Also your anxiety may decrease
And from multiple sclerosis will ease the pain.

But, it can become addictive
As everything, if used everyday,
But it can also be constructive
And might help you in some way.

Alcuni la usano per sballarsi
Altri la usano come medicina,
I suoi consumatori, per tutto il mondo sono sparsi
E molti la piantano in cantina.

In alcuni paesi come droga è listata
Anche se in realtà è solo una pianta,
Che da sempre sul nostro pianeta c'è stata
E in Giamaica è come fosse santa.

Malattie come l'Alzheimer può rallentare
E se la fumi aumenterai la tua creatività,
Anche con i problemi d'ansia ti può aiutare
E i tuoi dolori da sclerosi multipla, diminuirà.

Ma se usata troppo spesso
Anch'essa può crear dipendenza,
Io l'ho usata, te lo confesso
E per un pò fu difficile star senza.
