Hi everyone, This is my entry for SteemitPoetryContest # 14, hosted by @terrycraft at which many talented poets are participating with their own entries.
He hosts this contest every week and this is the second time I take part.
The theme for this week is "Words"
The power of a word
Is bigger than you think,
It can hurt you like a sword
Especially after a drink.
So be careful when you talk
And always think twice,
If you're not sure, go take a walk
Cause if you're wrong, you'll pay the price.
The right words could bring you love
As the wrong ones, could bring you hate,
So do as I said above
And be responsable for what you create.
Con la poesia in lingua inglese che vedete sopra ho partecipato al contest di @terrycraft al quale invito anche altri che sanno scrivere poesie in inglese a partecipare.
Il tema di questa settimana è stato: [Words=Parole].
Questa è la poesia in lingua Italiano, come ben sapete una poesia in rima se tradotta non ha lo stesso impatto emotivo, e neanche le rime non avrebbero più alcun senso.
Quindi in questa versione cerco di esprimere le stesse idee espresse in quella in inglese, ma con altre parole e altri esempi.
Le parole hanno un grande potere
Per questo, bisogna imparare ad usarle,
Qualunque sia il vostro mestiere
Quelle giuste, non é facile trovarle.
Una semplice parola
Una guerra può scatenare,
La stessa che a te ti consola
Detta a un altro, altre emozioni va a creare.
Quindi, prima di dire qualunque cosa
Pensateci sempre molto bene,
Perché anche se per voi é un idea strepitosa
Non é detto che agli altri conviene.
Tenete sempre conto di chi avete di fronte
Da dove viene? Che cosa fa?,
Se vive in un palazzo o sotto un ponte
Il vostro messaggio un significato diverso avrá.
