VOLUME OF 3D SHAPES

Today we are doing a repeat of volume but we are also doing the 3d shapes like a cone as well as a prism and etc. We have done this before but I had some people ask me to repeat this lesson because it is not that easy and sometimes we have to do some revision. We really have to remember all the formulas and keep them in your mind forever as that is the only way you will know how to do these.

Some of these with bigger and more complicated numbers must be done with a calculator. But the easy ones can be done by multiplying according to the different multiplication tables we have already learnt.

As usual   Some of these with bigger and more complicated numbers must be done with a calculator. But the easy ones can be done by multiplying according to the different multiplication tables we have already learnt.  you must remember what the formula of something is before we can work out either the area or the volume.

We must remember that we start with a 1 dimensional object we then go onto 2 dimensional to get to 3 dimensional objects

Like the volume of a cone is

The volume of a sphere is

So always remember all your formulas as this makes maths a lot easier. Hope you understand and will ask if there is something that you would like to know that I have not mentioned.

As always practice memorize and enjoy.

Excellent explaination! This reminds me

Sincerely speaking, I was thinking when you'll start this 3 dimensional object (Mr. Ibraheem my secondary school teacher will say don't give your self problem with 3 dimensional problem..... You just need to to understand some little things) but unfortunately for me 3D cost me A in my WAEC result... I got B4 that's next to A..... Probably if STEEMIT existed before then and I came across your blog.... I would have had my A....

Keep Steeming Ma

Maybe I wrote the same in my previous comments, but I love your content about math! A curiosity about the first image: formula is the same word that we use here in Italy ^_^

you're making steemit a great community with your content bigbear! keep it up!
