PROPORTIONS
What a lovely day to be doing proportions. Do you know what a proportion is? If you do not know I am so sure after this video you will have no doubt anymore. I am putting such a nice video in for you all about proportions. Please MEMORISE THE WAY YOU HAVE TO WORK IT OUT.
Now I am sure you all enjoyed this. I wanted to do ratios with you as well but I will do that tomorrow because it is too much for one day. I want you to understand proportions first then we can do ratios tomorrow. This was really a fun lesson so just memorise and remember how to multiply across like a X then you will not make any mistakes.
It is so good when you sit in class and you understand your maths. That is why you have to memorise all your maths facts as it is really getting more difficult. The reason for me going so slow, is that you will not forget anything you have learnt till now. And please go back to the previous lessons if you do not remember or understand what to do.
Look you find different proportions everywhere even this little girl show us proportions in her hands. She must have really understood the video. Hope you all enjoyed it and found it easy as maths is easy if you know the rules. So today really practice this and hopefully tomorrow you will understand ratios as well.

@bigbear, once again my bot didn't work. I am ready to cry. Anyway as always another great lesson plan from you. The students are so lucky because it really helps to reinforce what they learn in class. I really wish I had your lesson plans when I was young. It really would have helped!!!!!
