It took Vika a long time to get to Dracula's secret bedroom. And not just because of the fact that she had to go down to the basement entrance to the castle. She was shaking with fear. Somewhere deep in his subconscious, the thought of the Earl sleeping in one of those coffins and her waking him by accident was terrifying. What might happen then is frightening to imagine.

Finally, Vika reached the door she needed, glancing around just in case, she put the key in the keyhole. There was a soft click and the door opened...

The bedroom was empty. It was dimly lit, but the floor candelabra that lined the walls was enough to show that the coffins were open and empty. Danger could only lurk in the dark corners of the room.

Vika took a deep breath and stepped inside. She wondered for a moment whether she should lock the door or leave it open in case she had to run.

Not deciding what was best, Vika simply closed the door and walked over to one of the coffins.

And here she is again startled, and froze in place. It turns out, she with fear since forgotten, in which of them need to seek chronometer, as and in what specifically place he can be hidden.

Deciding, that better start act, than on-empty dumki drive around the circle, she quickly, but carefully probed entire covering first a coffin and, not finding in it artifact, devolved to the second.

Having examined almost completely its covering, Vika thought that either her grandfather had made a mistake with the location of the cache, or someone had found it before her. But then her fingers found a small depression near the lid, pressing on which Vika felt an invisible spring work, and she suddenly found herself far outside the room, under the arches of a mysterious cave.

Startled, she looked around and saw a boat floating on the river, with a man in the prow who looked like the one who had watched them at the hotel. And in the stern stood...Death itself with a scythe for an oar.

Following the path of the boat, Vika saw that its course lay straight into a crimson-lit hole in the rock that looked like a giant skull.

"This is that-passage in the other, an alternative a parallel the world, far we are trapped after death", - thought girl. "I don't like it very much. And why did I come here? What am I looking for here? Is the chronometer here somewhere? How do I get out of here?"

She looked around again. The boat and its unpleasant occupants were out of sight. Looking closer to the gap separating the worlds, Vika noticed a sign similar to the coat of arms of her grandfather. She went quickly to him and put her hand on the drawing, which immediately responded to her touch with a slight vibration. Almost immediately, Vika felt a small patch of rock slide to one side, and behind it was a secret cell, where there was a small box.

Taking it out, she opened the lid and saw the chronometer.

"All right, now I can go back! And-Yes, I can safely do it, just pressing the panic button. How did I forget that, you fool?"- she thought, and clicking the button at the same moment appeared in the room.

The guys here were not, they were still waiting for her at the exit of the castle. She didn't know how to let them know she was back.

To pass the time, she unwrapped both parts of the artifact, assembled it, and wondered what it was that made it special.

As time went on, it was almost morning, and Anton and Victor still had not appeared at the hotel, and Vika began to feel nervous. And then she decided: whether that will be, but at least the text messages she put it in Anton's cell phone, otherwise they'll be late for the train.

Soon after she sent the message, the boys returned to the hotel and, learning that everything had gone well, quickly Packed up the remaining things, drank a Cup of tea and sandwiches. Then they handed over the room to the maid on duty and quickly went to the station.

A few minutes later the train carried them farther and farther away. Ahead of them was Bucharest and the way home.

The conversation about what happened in the castle, as the search for the artifact, decided to postpone until later, when they will be in a safe place.
