Vika thought she had barely fallen asleep when she heard Anton's voice:

– Sleepyhead, up! Enough sleep, it's time for Breakfast. The driver will be here in an hour.

Girl with great difficulty opened his eyes, stretched and climbed out of bed, sat down, legs dangling.

– I long could not fall asleep, guiltily she said, and not enough sleep. Make me a strong coffee, please...

– Okay, I'll do it, but get up quickly. Take a shower, maybe it will also help you feel more cheerful.

Vika is with great regret that looked at the soft pillow still treasured the warmth of her cheeks and went to the bathroom.

When she took a refreshing shower, somewhat cheered her up, went to the kitchen, immediately felt the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Sitting down at the table, she clung to the coffee Cup and took a few SIPS.

– Whew, that's good, - she said, - I feel like I've been born again. Now i can have Breakfast.

– Then start as soon as possible, there is very little time. Oleg already called that the car left for us. I don't know when we'll get a chance to eat again. The day promises to be eventful.

And, indeed, after some ten minutes from the intercom came the voice of the driver Slavka:

– The carriage at the door! Waiting for you!

Vika quickly changed her clothes and, without making even the slightest make-up, went to the door, where Anton was waiting for her.

Together they went down the Elevator to the first floor and out of the entrance, next to which they met with Natasha. She watched with surprise as her neighbors got into an expensive foreign car, which immediately took them away.

Despite the traffic jams, the road to the Academy took a little time, and soon the boys were. They were waiting. Then they were held in the meeting room of the Council and brought before the high Commission among the five people.

Vika inevitably felt a light tremor of excitement. Next to her stood quietly, Anton and Victor. It was obvious that it is at them not the first time.

There in the hall she noticed and Nina Vasilievna with Igor Nikolaevich, who was sitting against the wall. Apparently, to them, too, originated any questions. In any case, they were the senior members of their group.

Several minutes there was silence, which was interrupted Oleg. He briefly told about the purpose and methods of investigation in which children took part.

Then he also briefly told about what happened in his subordinates when moving to another world, what problems they encountered there. He also said that the device that was used by the guys to jump through the portal malfunctioned, which they could not immediately return home, and almost died in Odessa, which came in 1942...

– Experts checked the device, carried out a number of tests and found out that it was reprogrammed remotely. Rather, it is the handiwork of the same dubious characters who lately haunt Victoria. One of them was seen a few seconds before the portal closed.

– Have you done anything to prevent this from happening in the future?

The question was asked by an elderly man sitting on the right hand of the Chairman of the Council, apparently his Deputy.

– Yes, of course, - Oleg answered. - Currently, our programmers are working to strengthen the protection of the device from external influences and improve its functionality.

– How long will it take them? - the same man asked again.

– A week, maybe two. During this time, the guys have to prepare for a new expedition. Moreover, it will be held in another country, in a rather exotic and unusual place. But we will talk about this later. So far, if you still have any questions about the last operation, ask them to the guys.

The Chairman raised his head, looked around the guys and asked:

– Everything you wrote in your reports, right? You didn't embellish anything? Are you really being followed in the village? Understand, this is not an idle question. A lot depends on how accurate you are about what happened to you.

– Yes, - said Victor, and Victoria confirmed his words, nodded and added:

– In the city apartment us were also looking for some stranger, while we were at the cottage. My neighbor told me about him.

Then she asked a question to members of the Commission:

– Did you manage to find out who Zahar is and what secret passage we are talking about?

– Not yet, - another member of the Commission said, - but we have the matter under control. Our historians and technical staff are busy finding the answer to this riddle.

– Well, the Council has no more questions. Discuss certain details with our experts immediately after the meeting. They're waiting for you in their offices. Have a nice day!

The Chairman rose from his seat and left the room. This was a signal that the audience immediately relaxed, from all sides there was a conversation.

Nina Igor Nikolaevich approached the guys and told them about last news: types, chasing Vick, periodically appear in sight, but active operations did not accept. Several times was seen on the porch of Baba Zina, who secretly considered the neighbor's plot. Otherwise, everything is calm.
