For a few minutes, Vicki's eyes adjusted to the gloom. She hesitated at the door, but there was nothing to do, so she went to the chest and lifted the lid.

Nothing new she saw, but just stand there doing nothing, it was hard, and she just, without any purpose, she began to sort through the contents of the chest, at the same time keenly listening to the sounds coming from somewhere in the yard.

Then, deciding that she will not achieve anything, the girl closed her eyes and tried to relax. After some time, her consciousness has become free from worldly thoughts, and then in her brain clearly came the voice of the grandmother.

– Well, Hello, granddaughter! You probably need my help if you're here again.

– Yes, grandmother, you're right! I'm being sent to Romania to find the count whose coat of arms is on the handkerchief I found in your chest. My friends at the Academy, many of whom you know, believe that the lost artifact is there. It just needs to be returned to the Academy vault. If it falls into the hands of our opponents, the irreparable may happen. They want to rewrite the history of the great Patriotic war, they want our country to lose, to be defeated. This can not be allowed!

– Okay, don't worry about it. I'm going to tell you everything about this story, but listen carefully, there's no time to repeat it.

– Yes, the artifact really should be there. By the way, this is your grandfather, who occasionally appears in the real world, the world where you live now. Unfortunately, we parted ways after my death, we were with him in different worlds apart, so now not meet with each other.

– How I would like to know the story of your love - sent Vika my thought grandma.

– Don't get distracted, please, about this we talk as any in another time and in another place. Now listen to what will be useful to you in the search for the count.

– As far as I know, he appears in your world during the full moon and walks around his domain at night. You can meet him at the main staircase of the castle, but don't scare him off. To he went to contact you, remember the password, which I'll whisper to you now, and no one to open it.

At the same moment in the brain of the girl imprinted signs, more like Morse code than any words.

– How am I going to give him that password if I don't even know what it is?" she said, puzzled.

– Just like I did to you, by telepathy, " the old woman answered.

– And he speaks in Russian? - and asked my grandmother Vika.

– How do you think we would have met him? - grinned at grandmother, - of course, talks. He is a polyglot, knows about ten languages. But stop talking in vain. I told you the main thing, as soon as you get back, let me know how your meeting with your grandfather went. Don't forget to tell him hi! Good bye!

– What was grandpa's name? - into the void asked a question the girl and then to herself said - silly me, patronymic of mother Nikolaevna, so his name was Nicholas or something like that.

She went out into the yard, where Anton had long been exhausted with impatience, so I wanted to know whether the meeting took place, whether his girlfriend managed to find out the necessary information.

– Well, how? Did you succeed? I didn't hear a sound... he asked.

– You wouldn't have heard anything, our conversation was on a telepathic level. Let's go inside and I'll tell you everything I can. There is nothing here to warm other people's ears, you had already forgotten about the curious women Klava and its mysterious guests?

She turned and walked quickly toward the house. Anton had no choice but to follow her.

When they entered the house, Igor and Nina met them at the door and was immediately bombarded with questions.

Vika went to the table and sat down. She suddenly neither from that nor from this began to tremble my knees, and began to beat a mild chill. She had no idea that meeting her grandmother would cause such a reaction.

Noticing the state of the girl, Nina began to fuss, quickly heated the water in the kettle, brewed and served Vika tea.

– Have a drink, you'll feel better, " she said, and sat down beside the girl and patted her hand reassuringly.

Vika took a few SIPS and felt the warmth spreading through her body. She soon, indeed, felt a great relief and, setting the mug aside, began her story.

She told almost everything that she learned from her grandmother, hiding only password that will allow her to communicate with the count. She did not do it because she did not trust her comrades, simply because she promised her grandmother to keep it a secret. And, as the saying goes, "you know less, you sleep better."..

Having finished her story, she looked at Oleg pleadingly:

– Can I go lie down? Something I drastically wanted to sleep - apologetically she said.

– Sure, sure, go get some rest. I understand the car will be picking you up tomorrow, so you have time to relax. And we are old and grey, - he winked at Vika, - we do cases, but at the same time we will look after the guests of the neighbor.

The boys went to their room. Vika lay down on the bed and almost immediately fell into a dream in which she dreamed of her grandmother. She was young and cheerful and waved to her granddaughter, as if inviting her to her...

Anton also hooked to the laptop and began to search for information about the castle, the way in which they had to make, and about the mysterious box suddenly appeared Vika's grandfather.
