After wandering around in the house idle, Vika decided to cook something to eat, because surely Victor will come hungry.

"At least he could do it!" - thought she hopefully. Having engaged in preparation of a dinner, she was distracted from the sad thoughts of return home and began to sing even slowly to herself under a nose a favourite melody.

Maybe that's why Vika didn't hear the noise in the yard at first, but when the loud voices suddenly came from right under the kitchen window, she shuddered in surprise.

Clutching his mouth in fright with his hand, she carefully approached the window and looked into the crack of the shutters. What she saw there shocked girl. Several people in German uniform wandered around the yard and talked about something. Then one of them went to the door and tried to open it. But the door wouldn't budge. Then he went along the wall. When he reached the window, he tried to consider what is in the room.

Frightened Vika squatted down and tried to hide under the table.

But through the shutters fascist couldn't consider nothing turning away from the window, he give the order his soldiers and they went out of the gate and soon disappeared from sight.

Only then the girl was able to take a breath and sat down on the bed. Her legs and arms were trembling with excitement. She couldn't calm down for a long time.

Soon she heard quiet, cautious steps and again looked out in a crack. This time she saw Victor returning home.

Victor listened carefully to the tangled story of a girl and then told her about the adventures that had befallen it in the city.

Victor scratched his head thoughtfully and said sorrowfully:

They quickly removed the traces of their stay in this house, which sheltered them, and when they were ready to make a breakthrough into their world, they heard in the yard the alarmed barking of a dog and the trampling of boots.

Victor quickly took Vika's hand, pressed to itself, and the second hand transferred the lever on the device and pressed the button.

Before my eyes the girls again all spun-spun, for a moment, laid the ears, and after a few seconds she felt like the air around her began to thin, filled with smells and sounds.

Opening her eyes, she mechanically closed during the move, Vick found himself standing in the barn of her grandmother. Next to her was Viktor, still holding her hand...
