Hello all!
Time for another one of these data posts. Generally, the feedback is good and I have new requests, as well as replies on the older posts (links below) coming in still too - so I shall continue.
Just don't ask me to give you the 10 richest Bid-bot witnesses ;)
Why this data could be useful
Do long comments give you the most financial reward? I wouldn't have thought so, but they could gain you some followers - indirect financial rewards and more engagement.
The list will look something like this:

'Length' is the length of the comment in characters.
I have removed posts with a title that included 'top-10' from my list above, and will also remove if requested, one piece of free-text (within reason!) for each request I receive.
The reason behind this was that a lot of my recent 'data table comments' were included in the list above, and I wanted to see more of the 'free text' replies.
A closer look
Well it does look as if size doesn't always matter! Especially when I compare this to my top 10 most 'valuable' comments.
It was good to have a read through some of these comments though, and I think the one I'm most pleased to have written is the one to @fulltimegeek. This was an early 'stewards of gondor' post in the making and well, that one turned into a really good thing for me personally :)

Well it was less of a holiday, and more of reduced engagement for the summer - i'll still be checking in most days :)
Some reward for almost all your epic works :)
Oh well, @tarazkp and @khaleelkazi seems to appear a lot often. Comparing this to the list of highly rewarded comments, it confirmed the theory that 'it is not about the size of the car'

Yes our engagers are worth more than we can pay them at present!
When prices were up a bit i I offered 3 or 4 times more percentage wise but at the moment I just can't do it withe delegation costs as I have to post a little more to cover it. I will hopefully get back to it soon though :)
Yeah, I also pay for delegation but I think at a fair price.
The way I see it is that 1$ (approx. 100% upvote), is not going to make or break me financially, and the good press/feeling for gifting 100% to others is worth more to me.
My opinion may well change should my upvote ever be worth 10 times this!
when votes were a little more forthcoming, I just wore the cost as I new I would cover it anyway and the SBD prices helped a lot earlier. but the last couple weeks it has been eating a little too heavily into the weekly amount so I have adjusted a little. Still, 60 percent goes out to the community.

I know I have a 1034 word and an 1883 word comment. Seems you have bested me @abh12345!
My 1883 word one is 10,137 characters with spaces. The shorter one being over 5k. Do I have longer I hope not. They tend to scare people lol.
Well my top comment was a data-pull and so it shouldn't really count, although it did take some time to produce.

Not sure @abh12345. If there is no payout does that mean that there was no upvote? And where there were payouts they could have come from a number of people, correct?
I will probably need to go and check out the comments to make sense of this.
Short of that, what strikes me is there were no long comments in March, nor so far in April that have paid out. And, interestingly I am aware that I comment less on the two main accounts featuring in this table. One of them posts a lot less anyway.
Null is no up-vote that was considered enough to pay out, or the comment is not paid out yet.
I guess I should have made that clear :)

Well that was an interesting exercise @abh12345. I looked at the four comments that actually earned something and learned that i still have no idea how payouts work 😂 and that the size of the payout, like most other things here, seems to be directly related to the power/size of the person doing the upvote.
The one account that seemed to make the most difference only seems to have posted four times in their whole history!
It doesn't do me good to dwell too much on this stuff as, as you know, I am easily demotivated and I can already find myself drifting to "what's the point" thinking.
Time to step away again . . . "oh, but I haven't answered all the comments from overnight yet, yet alone read all the posts" . . . Yep. Definitely time to step away! 😂 😍

Over-analysing can be a bad thing, from other analysis on comment rewards I concluded it was more luck than judgement. And a comment on a power users blog generally earned more.
