Greetings dear community of Steemit. As you may know (or if you do not know), I am currently studying mathematics education. Six weeks ago I started a small tour called "professional practice", held in a high school, or better, in the Educational Unit "Juan José Rondón", located in Valle de la Pascua, Guárico state - Venezuela. This institution serves students from the first to fifth year of high school. Leaving this a little behind we start with what I have come to tell you, and it is my journey (brief summary) during these six weeks. Without more to say, let's start.

Everything begins with the presentation at the institution, with the management bodies, where I know the director and the assistant director. This first meeting was just that and a short journey through the institution. Then it was in mutual agreement that my day of attendance would be on Tuesday mornings. Before leaving, the director stops me in private and tells me that I should cut my hair, as they go against certain regulations that they have there, besides promoting that in the students, something that is not wanted. My first day and my first scolding hahaha, but despite that, I completely agree with the director, as we must convey what you want and abide by its regulations.

Started my next Tuesday, already with the style change in my hair (I usually use it a little longer). This day was my presentation and assignment with which I would become my assistant teacher and in turn, I would accompany him in his pedagogical practice throughout the morning on Tuesdays attending three sections of the second year of high school. From now on, each Tuesday became unique and special, also became one more student during each class, where he shared with the other children as well as supporting the teacher in their classes.

Already served a little more than half the time agreed for the stay in this institution, he could not ignore the cleaning activity. This activity was held on a Saturday, with the participation of the director and assistant director, some teachers and practitioners. It was a very hard day, starting from 7:00 am trying to clean as quickly as possible to finish early, as there were people living far from the institution (as is the case with me). At about 12:30 p.m., the activity culminates satisfactorily, then a small sharing where it could be tasted with a spectacular soup dish.

It was again Tuesday, then I would have to go to the institution, a normal day like any other Tuesday, when the assistant teacher tells me that I must give a class for the following Tuesday, taken as a closing since that Tuesday would be my last in this institution. I, without hesitation, accept to give the class, then assign me the content that I must address; properties of the multiplication in the rational numbers, dictated for the second year students section "G". Since I left my usual schedule, I started thinking about what to do for the class, not so much for the content, but rather how to apply it to make the class a bit more fun and dynamic, thus leaving that typical tedious math class behind . At home, I came up with the idea of ​​doing a crossword puzzle, where they must solve the proposed exercises and place the results in the corresponding spaces. It was my main idea, but then I thought it would still be the same as putting them to do exercises in their notebook. Then I decided to do that bigger crossword puzzle, and paste a small magic lock in each space or square, so that they, having the result, stood up and went to paste it. Here I leave the process of when you do the crossword puzzle. I clarify that I had never worked on bond paper hahaha.

The day of my class arrived, everything prepared to make it different and build knowledge that will last a little longer. The class begins with its usual norm, which is to train students before entering, then pass the assistance. Then in the classroom, I arrange the students in a semicircle shape and I ask everyone to get up from their seats, to make a dynamic and thus remove the boredom they expressed in their faces. The dynamic is called "The boom", a small example of this dynamic is that you choose a set of key numbers, we will select the multiples of 4, then each participant is counting out loud, to each that corresponds to say some multiple of 4 instead of saying the number should say boom, the next should continue saying the next number, which is wrong or is very slow, must go out and take their place, every time you leave someone can be change the set of selected numbers, the end of it is to activate its capacity of retention and response. He had a lot of fun during this dynamic, in addition to encouraging each student more, making them want to participate in the class, which is the idea to start the content.

I begin to explain the corresponding content, I took the formulas of each property in a bond paper so that everyone could see them, also certain fractions in white sheets to make some examples of exercises, where in each exercise I asked several students to get up. their seats and assigned a sheet, then they would go to do the numbers, this to make a little more experiential the realization of the exercises, since the idea was to make the class different and forget a little of the blackboard.

Culminated to give them all the content for this day, it is time to evaluate them, for this small evaluation which corresponds to "interventions in class", I will use the previously made crossword and stuck on the wall, where I proceeded to divide them into two large groups ( group verticals and horizontal groups), each group would work the part that corresponds to it according to its name. As they solved the crossword, they began to realize that when someone solved an exercise and hit the result, that would be a clue to another result, since everything was between lazado. The team that solved the most exercises was the vertical ones, but to their surprise the crossword was complete, so with the help of both, they managed to complete the crossword, since it could not be solved without the mutual help of the two teams.

Once the class is completed, I complement something that they could realize, "teamwork", since by beginning it divides them into two groups, but in reality it was always a great group, since with the help of one and the other, They were able to solve the crossword and their respective exercises. Then, without knowing, they were applying certain values ​​as united and companionship, so I process to give you a little reflection on that, I tell you; "Guys, as you can see the crossword could not have been solved without the help of everyone, with this I mean that in this way we have to be, a great team, to leave behind the fights and misunderstandings, since they are only in second, They have a long way to go, and maybe each year they will be able to play together, at least most of you. Then applying as today we can solve any problem, so it must be, work together and you will see that you will be able to overcome all the adversities that are presented to you in this beautiful way of high school, also in our daily life ". After that little impromptu speech I thanked them for having shared all that time with me, I also assigned them activities for the next class, which my assistant teacher would dictate hahaha.

This was all that little story, there were many feelings and emotions that I do not find how to translate it into the writing, perhaps also some things will be overlooked, but I hope that they enjoyed this trip a bit, I tried to summarize it as much as possible so as not to bore them .
