RE: Steemit Guide & My STEEM Days: How Do I Work?

in #steemit6 years ago

Yo man! It's been awhile. I've read a lot of your recent posts but I guess I feel like I just didn't have a lot of real contribution to put in and just kind of left it at that. (I would vote more often, but the forced 100% votes makes me conserve my 0.01 vote for smaller people :) )

I just wanted to leave you a comment to say I didn't lose interest in your kick-ass page, I've just decided to put more time into my own Steemit experience now that you've helped me understand it a lot better. I also wanted to mention that I did learn a lot from this post and it inspired me to reach out to you.

Hackmd.io sounds like something I've been looking for for awhile. I feel like I have a good understanding of the github and was wondering, what am i missing? Also, I have yet to figure out how to know if I get a mention, so that was a good reminder that I need to figure that out.

I also would like to point out my own two cents on the replies thing: I find the replies section on Steemit somewhat tough to manage and prefer the format on Steemworld.org . I don't know if you've ever used it, but I'm just putting it out there for others who might think similarly to me: it's just a lot easier to keep track of things. I also have a slower computer and it makes a huge difference in the performance of it.

So that's all. Thanks, as always, for all you do. Rock on Max!

Well busy.org is also a useful app.

Way better than the Steemit front-end. I just use the Steemit front-end out of habit.

Plus, don't worry about being quiet lately, I don't want you guys to have to drum roll here every morning to say you're reading :P

Cheers man^!

I wasn't worried, just wanted to drop by and let you know I'm still reading, and say thanks. I've heard a lot about busy.org but I haven't tried it yet. I have a stupid double browser situation going where certain things only work on one while others on another, and my old laptop just can't handle having 'em both going.
