After some intense contemplation on the matter... I simply couldn't withstand the strong affection I feel for one of the combatants. So, after all, I must now tell you my non-qualifying tale of how this QF2 Match of Paintball would actually play out:

Zilong and Monica find themselves in the misty paintball arena of Niflheim, they are just about ready and geared up to engage in battle, when Zilong's phone suddenly rings inside of his duffel-bag.

Zilong was awaiting a very important call from a Professional Advisor whom he'd contracted for some very important legal business. He immediately dropped his silly Magical Spear, he never wanted that thing anyways, and rushed back to his locker to pick up the phone:

"Hello, this is Zilong" ... "mhm, ah yeah... that's great news!" ... "What do you mean? Everything is done? All the paper work settled? That went better than expected!!"

Zilong's face started glowing with happiness as his ethereal smile grew wider and wider.

"So I can pick up my new passport NOW?!" ... "You are amazing Angel! I knew I could trust Lucius when he recommended your services to me." ... "Yes, I will tell him your regards when I meet him soon." ... "Thank you again, sir. I'll drop everything I am doing right now. It is time to begin life anew and follow my true destination!"

And so, Zilong, without a further word or look into Monica's direction, grabbed the Mask of Cooperative Contemplation from his duffel-bag and went away to pick up his new passport and start a new life as a Popular, but Crazy Mastermind under his chosen name of Zygmunt.

but let's face it, the real winner here is Zygmunt.
