Yes my dear lovely foodies of the world of Steemit...We got our winner of week 2 of Steemit Iron Chef 2017!!!
Before announcing the different winners of this wonderful cooking contest, let me first thank all the wonderful contestants who again did an amazing job in elevating the Carrots which was the theme the past week! All the entries were just amazing and some of them even worth to feature in Michelin Star restaurants!
You are all winners from my point of view but as in any contest we need a ranking for the distribution of prizes!!!
While judging, I again this week decided to add couple of SBD more and rewarded the top 7 making it a total of 30.5 SBD , 200 Whaleshares and 75 Voiceshares distributed!
Giving back to the community and see everyone grow together is my way of steeming and people like @canadian-coconut, @donkeypong and @cryptoctopus are my inspiration.
The more I make the more I will distribute, this is a promise from a die hard food lover!

For me, this has been a lot of fun. It's been wonderful to have an outlet for my ideas. So many ideas, but need to weigh and narrow things down to what works best.
I have followed the instructions from your link regarding the whaleshares. I think I did it right. There was a fee of 1 whaleshare taken then I was able to use the rest for upvoting my carrot creamsicle post. I'm still holding on to the voiceshares as my understanding is that I can use that in other ways, is that right? Still haven't thought of what to do with it.

I've just seen the post again and yes mate, you did it right! You see it's quite a good push on your post! It's normally better to use it on your newest post, it will make your post get a good start and hopefully get some more attention.
Concerning the voiceshares, you need to trade them to beyond bits and use same way as the whaleshares.
