The elections for the Steem Alliance Working Group took place on Sunday.

There were 24 nominations and nearly 500 people voted.

The final results will be released shortly.

In a separate initiative @impactn and others are looking to develop a Marketing and PR strategy for Steem - take part in the polls for the chance to win 20 steem.

Steem Alliance Working Group Elections

The elections for the Steem Alliance Working Group took place on Sunday.

Over a hundred people attended the Election meeting in the Steem Alliance Discord.

There were 24 nominations for the 11 positions on the Working Group.

During the 12 hours the voting was open, almost 500 people cast votes.

The final voting numbers are still being confirmed but those nominees receiving over 100 votes include @reggaemuffin (165 votes), @llfarms (137), @inertia (111), @jedigeiss (111) and @lemouth (111).

The final election results will be released shortly.

Getting STEEM back into the TOP 10

The CoinMarketCap.com website ranks all cryptocurrencies according to Market Capitalisation.

For a long time Steem comfortably held a top 25 position, and even as high as the top 10 for a while. Over the last few months Steem has been drifting down and down. It now struggles to keep a place in the Top 50.

After taking part in Saturday's Steem Witness Forum Top 20 witness @therealwolf tackles the question of 'How can get STEEM back into the Top 10'.

For @therealwolf it is about making Steem more investor friendly...

We need a change: Investor first - Userbase second
...to get STEEM back into the top 10, we have to attract way more investors.

We have to show them: invest in STEEM because it's lucrative.
