Chased by Bears

Two biologists are on the field looking for wild bear tracks. Suddenly, the wild bear came out of its nest and right in front of them.

They climbed the nearest tree, but the bear started climbing the tree faster than they did. The first biologist began to take off his hiking leather boots and pulled a pair of running shoes out of his backpack.

  • The second biologist gave him a confused look and said, "What are you doing?"

  • He replied, "I plan when the bear approaches us, and we'll jump down and run."

  • The second biologist says, "Are you crazy? We both know you can not run faster than an adult wild bear?"

  • The first biologist replied, "I do not have to run faster than the bear, I just need to run faster than you!"
