Travel Diary #4: Biggest Tua Pek Kong temple in Sitiawan(品仙祠大伯公和观音堂)
Last Christmas Eve, I went to Sitiawan for a one day trip. I visited a place called Tua Pek Kong Temple (品仙祠大伯公和观音堂).
For those who don’t know what a Tua Pek Kong temple is, The Tua Pek Kong Temple is a dedicated to the deity most beloved by overseas Chinese.

From the entrance, 11 statues are measuring between 2.1m and 14.6m in height on a broad-based, two-metre high classical facade facing the sea.
We have The Sanxing(Three Stars), who are Fu, Lu, and Shou. They are the gods of the three stars and the three qualities of Prosperity, Status, and Longevity.
Fu(Prosperity), with all the blessings and good luck energy.
Lu(Status), with the promise of success and financial stability.
Shou(Longevity), offering the gifts of longevity and peaceful life.
This I believe is called Ksitigarbha, is a bodhisattva primarily revered in East Asian Buddhism and usually depicted as a Buddhist monk. Also known as "Womb of the Earth”.

If you plan to visit Pangkor Island, you can visit this temple before reaching Pangkor Island.
