Travel Diary #3: Foo Lin Kong temple(福临宫) in Pangkor island
Fu Lin Kong is a Chinese temple in Pangkor Island. Many Chinese tourists and tourists who love Chinese cultures like to visit and pray in this temple to get the blessing from God. Fu Lin Kong is a Taoist temple, built at the foot of Pangkor Hill in the village of Sungai Pinang Besar.
It is also the biggest temple on the island.
There are interesting stone type gates before entering the main temple.
After going through the stone on the left, there is a 赚钱洞, which means "earn money." Legends said after walking through it, it would bless you to have a smoother career and earn more money.
On the other side, along the hill, there is a mini Great Wall of China. If you can’t afford to visit the real Great Wall of China, the mini version might do the job.
View from top of the temple. Looks like a painting for me.
That’s all from me, time to get back to work. I’ll see you in the next post, bye bye.
