Mit dem Stauwehr im Rücken geht es nun hinein in das Naturschutzgebiet "Petite Camargue". Mit dem Angeln wird es hier leider nichts werden @pollux.one ;-)
With the barrage in the back, I´m heading now into the nature-sanctuary "Petite Camargue*. Fishing strictly forbidden here, @pollux.one! ;-)

Gegenüber das Ziel der Safari, eine kleine Insel auf dem Hauptarm des Rheins. Die Steine liegen leider zu weit auseinander, um trockenen Fusses auf die andere Seite gelangen zu können. Näher komme ich nicht ran.
Vis-à-vis the target destination, a littel island in the middle of the Rhine´s main branch. The rocks are to distant from eachother to allow for a dry passage to the other side. Can´t get any closer.

Thank you @englishtchrivy! I also like these backlight photographs very much. They can be quite atmospheric. I was also happy to stumble into the Common Darter. I wanted to get even closer but it didn´t let me :-)
