The local gem safari #11 - Stauwehr Märkt / Barrage Märkt
Willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe der Local Gem Safari! In dieser Serie könnt Ihr mich an Orte Eurer Wahl schicken und ich werde berichten, worauf ich dort stosse.
Und so funktioniert´s: Am Ende dieses Beitrages findet ihr den Aktionsradius innherhalb dessen Ihr mich einmal pro Woche losschicken könnt. Entnehmt Google maps die Koordinaten oder die Bezeichnung des Ortes der Euch interessiert, und postet diese als Kommentar. Ihr könnt angeben, was genau ich dort für Euch einfangen soll Oder Ihr überlaßt es mir zu entscheiden, was ich von dort berichte.
Der Vorschlag mit den meisten Upvotes nach der ersten Auszahlung gibt das Ziel für die nächste Safari vor und wird mit 25% der Einnahmen des ersten daraus folgenden Beitrages belohnt!
Welcome to a new episode of the local gem safari ! In this series you can send me out to places of your choice and I will report back to you what I stumble upon! This is how it works: At the end of this post you´ll find the perimeter within which you can send me around once every week. Grab the coordinates or the name of the place of your interest from google maps and post it to the comments. You can either specify what you want me to capture at that location Or you simply leave it up to me to decide what I find worth reporting from there. The proposal with the most upvotes after the first payout will send me to the next destination and will be rewarded with 25% of the earnings of the first resulting post!

Das Stauwerk von Märkt ist die einzige Möglichkeit, um zum Ziel auf der französiche Rheinseite zu gelangen.
The barrage is the only way to reach the target destination on the french side of the Rhine.
Auf nach Frankreich, so lange die Grenze noch offen ist!
Let´s go to France while the border is open!

Ein künstlich angelegter Seitenarm des Rheins - der eigentliche Grund für die Errichtung des Stauwerkes.
The barrage was built to allow for this artificial side branch of the Rhine.

Die aufgeräumte Architektur des Gebäudes und der Anlage begeistert mich.
I love the clean architecture of the entire facility.
Ich hoffe, dass Euch der erste Teil dieses Ausflugs zum Stauwehr Märkt gefallen hat. Verpasst nicht den zweiten Teil dieser Safari, in dem ich das eigentliche Ziel im wunderschönen Naturschutzgebiet der sogenannten Petit Camargue erreiche.

15 km Maximalentfernung von Basel (Stadtmitte), Schweiz (47.560696, 7.586765):
- Geht über -> diesen link <- auf Google Maps und durchstöbert die Karte in einem Umkreis von 15 km rund um Basel.
- Wenn ihr auf etwas interessantes stosst, könnt Ihr mit einen Rechtsklick über das Kontextmenü bei "Was ist hier?" die Längen- und Breitengrade des Ortes entnehmen.
- Postet die Koordinaten und/oder den Namen des Ortes als Kommentar. Wenn Ihr möchtet könnt Ihr auch genau beschreiben, was ich vor Ort genau für Euch einfangen soll. Ich werde mein GPS einsetzen, um so nah wie möglich dorthin zu gelangen.
Go to google maps -> using this link <- and browse the map within a maximum distance of 15 km to Basel, Switzerland.
-If you find something that catches your interest, right click on the location and select ´What's here?´from the context menu to obtain the latitude and longitude coordinates.
-Add the coordinates and/or the name of the place to the comments. If you wish you can further specify what exactly you would like me to report from there. I will use my GPS to get there as close as possible.

Ey Shaka, this looks like fun! I had a little trip to basel in two weeks but the customer prefer that I work remotly because it is only three days. next time I go there if
