In Continuation From Episode 33

The reality ITOHAN imagined by her decision was quite different from the one she was living, she was stressed, tired always, and angry, Chinedu was behaving funny, hardly replies her letters, and when he does, it's so shallow that she wonders if he was really the one that actually wrote the letter, but that was the main issue she's got to deal with, the main issue was coping with responsibility trusted at her by her mum...!!!!

ITOHAN now got to understand that her mum is materialistic, coming over for her mum was making more money, to her ITOHAN didn't need to work, all she had to do was dress up and look pretty and the men, rich ones will scramble to shower her with money and gifts, she sat ITOHAN down, and outlined her plans.. ITOHAN, felt despite the fact that she got pregnant as a young age, didn't mean she was going to allow her mum pimp her out to the highest bidder… And that's where the issues started... Her mother felt slighted and angered that ITOHAN wasn't adhering to her, so she gave conditions on living with her, which includes ITOHAN taking care of everything from the rent to paying her(the mother) money for taking care of baby Catherine whilst she was at work...!!!!

ITOHAN was drained, she wakes so early, does all the chores before going to work, comes back from work, goes straight to the market where her mum owns a shop, picks up baby Catherine, goes on home to start dinner, bath her baby, feed her, by the time she was done it was nearly very late.. Everyday... Luckily work place was more welcoming for her, her boss was like a father to her, and his little tips to her helped in footing her so many bills… Bills her mother vehemently refuse to help with, but ITOHAN was determined not to run back to Benin till Chinedu man up and do his responsibility by her...!!!!

She loves him so much and despite the numerous advances, she stayed true and committed to him... Writing him every week despite his cold shallow replies... She saw it as a phase that will pass... For her, her present pain was worth it, for the price of Chinedu making her his legally… Or so she thought...!!!!

Chinedu was going through her letters, she described her new job, and in the letter was a picture of her with his baby, they looked so beautiful, Chinedu misses them, but he was set to follow up on his plans, be aloof on paper which will scare her to him... And gently he went into gambling again... With her gone he didn't see the need not to... He wasn't a drinking or womanizing man... So to him, she should be grateful, gently at first and quickly it grew to be something he became obsessed with... Yet Chinedu just couldn't stop... The more he went into, the more he lost, his salaries even wasn't enough...!!!

He couldn't even spare to send for the upkeep of his daughter, he was constantly in debt, yet he just couldn't stop... Psychologically, it was his way of getting back at ITOHAN for leaving him… Or so he thought...!!!!
