ITOHAN just couldn't understand the slow pace in which Chinedu was taking this whole issue, she had brought up the issue a week ago, he listened and said nothing then, other than, '' okay baby, let's see how it goes ''… And since then it's been total silence on the issue, well it was a weekend and she sure will get him to talk to her about it, whether he likes it or not.... She heard baby Catherine whimpering and got up to check on her....
Chinedu stood amongst his friends, it was a weekend, so he was home and decided to stroll and see some of his friends, with all the jokes going on and all congratulating him on having such a beautiful family, Chinedu allowed his mind to wander, contrary to ITOHAN beliefs, he was actually trying to do something about the issue but like a few things about him she was yet to know.. Serious issues for him, required more work and less say or procrastination, so he had gone to meet his elder brother, who lived in the same city with him...
Isaac, Isaac was the weird one in his family, weird in the sense that, he acted like an old man, with a steady frown on his face it was hard to believe, Isaac actually did ever laugh.... Chinedu chuckled at the memory of his about his brother, seeing Isaac gave him the solution he needed,... Isaac was to accompany him to his father in laws house and present the drink as custom demands... Chinedu was yet to tell ITOHAN about all this, because being mischievous, he enjoyed watching her fret and think he was silent over the issue... He chuckled again...
ITOHAN was almost done with her chores at home, baby Catherine was a needy baby, she expected to be carried and played with every time, ITOHAN wished Chinedu will get back home to help, but she understood, he was so supportive, and don't ever have time to meet up with friends like guys do, so she suggested to him to take a stroll out today, baby Catherine was sleeping, else they both would have done the stroll and ITOHAN would have been left in peace... Playing with baby Catherine, she couldn't wait for him to come, she had issues she wanted to talk to him about.... Just then she heard the lock turn and saw that baby Catherine paused, looking towards the door, as soon as Chinedu got into the room, baby Catherine screamed in delight…
ITOHAN watched her daughter wriggled happily to be carried by her father and couldn't help but wonder the great bond father and daughter shared....
