Mom?!!!! ITOHAN jumped out from the bed, the beautiful lady looked on like the screaming ITOHAN screamed didn't affect her... The lady now looked directly to ITOHAN, looked to her stomach, with that ITOHAN took to her knees, welcoming her, and made her sit down... All this while, her mother was just silently looking at her, ITOHAN sat close to her and her mum held her hands and began to talk silently to her...!
Chinedu gave them some time alone, he couldn't believe his eyes, ITOHAN rarely talked about her mum, he never could imagine that she was this young and so extremely pretty... But something else was obvious to Chinedu... Her mother didn't like him, the coldness in her eyes was evident enough... Chinedu didn't want to make an enemy off his intended mother-in-law, but he needed an avenue to make himself known to her, for her to see that he really did love her daughter and meant well...!
Still lost in thoughts, Chinedu was brought out of his reverie, by his door opening and ITOHAN and her mother going out... He rushed towards them, her mother stared at him coldly... She turned to him, and said, '' thank you for receiving me, and taking care of my daughter and unborn granddaughter too... But pray nothing happens to them both in the course of been here or you would feel the wrath of a bitter snake''... Chinedu froze!! With that she turned to her daughter, hugged her and left... Chinedu noticed that the bag she brought in was no more with her...!
ITOHAN went silently to him held his hands and took him inside, then she hugged him, and told him she loved him, and nothing else matters...!
Chinedu had so many questions to ask but he decided to ask the most puzzling one... '' Baby what would your mum think it's a girl we are having? ''.. ITOHAN looked thoughtful for some minutes and now said'' exactly what she told me inside, she even brought clothes for female baby, here, am confused too, according to my mum, she was given a female child in her dream... So she's sure it's a girl"... Chinedu shuddered wondering the family he's getting into.....!!!!
