She opened her eyes to the bright rays of sunlight, slowly she lost touch of where she was, but gradually it began to sink in... She was with Chinedu, she had slept over his place, oh no, she panicked, her dad must be worried sick... What was wrong with her, why did she throw caution to the wind and do this, she has never slept out of her father’s house before, and this was her first time... Now she had worsened the whole issue... But first, how will she get home now, she started pacing, not minding to look for Chinedu!!

Chinedu heard the noise and knew his queen was awake, smiling! He walked inside and saw her pacing about the room with a frown creasing her beautiful face... He walked up to her, Good morning baby, you good..?.. She looked up to him with tearful eyes and told him her fears, he smiled... pulled her close hugged her tight...

ITOHAN felt instant peace as Chinedu held her to his chest, he was such a comforter, Chinedu brought up her chin, kissed her, and led her to sit.. Baby he said, uhm, we are both going to see your dad today, it's about time he knows me, plus I am tired of sneaking around, I love you so much and want you to be my wife soon, ITOHAN was speechless, she could only just smile, he continued, and baby, as for what he told you last night about you reallocating to your mum's, with my going there today, I don't think he will go through with it, I need you in my life, always remember that, he finished his words, and she kissed him, too speechless to utter a word... Then he made a joke which she laughed to, and gradually her tension faded out... They both freshened up, looking quite smashing together, they set out for her father's house... She’s still filled with fear, Him filled with apprehension, but with their determination they went ahead... Knowing with every step forward, it will definitely bring them to both their destinies and peace of mind, freedom too...!!!!

He looked at the time, she still wasn't back, though at night when he discovered last night that she didn't sleep at home, he knew immediately that she wasn't in danger, wherever she was, she was happy, he felt relieved, but hurt that his little girl was turning into a woman so fast and so quickly, he had this thing ringing at the back of his mind, that this will break both his and her heart, reasons he made the decision to send her to her mum's, even when it would be difficult to watch her go.. He just couldn't shake that feeling of hurt... He heard noises outside, and listened, heard his daughter's voice... She was home, but, then he heard the other voice... Calm and collected voice... He heard a knock, he called out to come in. ITOHAN walked in who went immediately to her knees with her head bowed down... He stood up and looked up, saw the stranger who had the voice... Hmmm, the young man looked harmless enough, but, but... He quietly sat down, looking at both of them, the daughter on the floor crying and begging, the young man, silently standing, with a word... He raised his hands gesturing for his daughter to stop... He looked at the young man, and asked him to sit down...

Chinedu was so scared, yes he came prepared to meet anything, but he wasn't prepared to meet a seven foot tall giant, with the most penetrating gaze ever seen, yes he had heard of this man, but he had never seen him, no wonder people revered him... The man looked like a god amongst men, Chinedu was scared, and with it, he began to question if his decisions were wise at all... Those eyes.., oh gosh, those eyes of his has been resting on him for more than twenty minutes now, Chinedu didn't know whether to run out or sit tight... Then her father began to speak gently... And Chinedu, was shocked, afraid, unworthy, all at once... Chinedu ears listened...!!!!
