Many people came up with really good FAQ posts, but they can be hard to find, so I made a list ... just for you ;-)
@ned did make a post to bring everybody together for an official FAQ page, but it's just a call to action, not an actual faq page, although he does answer a lot of questions in the comments!

I am having a torred time building and mining steem on a barebones *nix box @joseph's post "mining for dummies" is very useful but I have more to do. Once I have it working correctly i'll post
