The Whistleblowers (Series): #14 - UK Ambassador: US/UK Knew There Were No WMDs In Iraq - Huge Numbers Dead on Fake Evidence For Political and Financial Gain.

It is no surprise to many who are paying attention, that the Iraq war of 2003 to 2011 was started based on lies and false information to further the agenda of psychopaths from within the American and British Governments. Numerous testimonies from key individuals, leaked documents and those on the ground make clear that as with the majority of wars in the last 200 years, the conflict was orchestrated for financial and political gain - with no honestly justifiable reasons existing to support the action at all. Craig Murray was a British Ambassador to Uzbekistan during the initial stages of the Iraq war and makes clear that internally, the government was well aware that Iraq had no Weapons of Mass Destruction, yet lied to the world repeatedly to gain support for war.

There can be little more tragic in life than war and the suffering and carnage it brings. The emotional nature of war often leads the fighters to react to attack anyone who is critical of the actions as if to question the alleged 'authority' of the political groups who direct the armies is an act of cowardice in itself - when nothing could be further from the truth. To question those who claim authority is a fundamental requirement of any sane democratic process and is part of what separates democracy from dictatorships - so it is that those who seek to intimidate those who question the decisions that lead to war are very much the enemies of freedom and not those who dare to imagine that maybe war is not required and that propaganda is being inserted into the narrative in a dishonest and evil way.

This famous phrase makes clear to us that wherever there is war there is also lies. Unfortunately though, it appears that we can multiply this phrase by 1000 times and still fall short of realising the extent of the lies that humans have been told regarding the biggest wars in recorded history and living memory. It is important to understand that war is itself a kind of logical lie, since war declares that the only course of action that will resolve an imbalance is to kill and maim others - yet since that is itself an imbalanced act, it is 100% certain that war can never truly solve the problems it is alleged to be intended to solve.

Craig Murray's Background

Between the years 1984 and 2004, Craig acted for the British Government's Foreign Office in locations including Cyprus, Poland, Western Africa and Uzbekistan. He was involved in various high profile processes including the peace talks in Sierra Leone in 1998.

In 2002 he became the British Ambassador to Uzbekistan and shortly after became disillusioned by the Western Government support for the dictatorial regime of Islam Karimov in Uzbekistan, which he identified as using widespread torture, rape, murder, abduction and other human rights abuses to control the population.

For those who may have forgotten or were too young at the time to be fully aware, the Iraq war was launched on the pretext that the leader of Iraq - Saddam Hussein - was holding weapons of mass destruction and would not co-operate with Western diplomatic and UN attempts to disarm them. In reality, as was confirmed by a previous CIA whistleblower in this series - Susan Lindauer, the Iraqis were fully compliant with UN requests and were being forced into a situation whereby the Americans did everything possible to create a false pretext for a conflict that need not have existed. General Wesley Clark also spoke out about how it was made clear to him that the plan to invade Iraq (and several other nations) was in place long before the events of the twin tower destruction and pentagon explosion on 911:

A vast number of innocent men, women and children died during the Iraq war, plus the radioactive, depleted uranium used in various armaments meant that the genetics of large numbers of people were heavily damaged, resulting in large numbers of hideously deformed children being born and the prospect of generations of local people being seriously injured for years still to come.

Craig was speaking at St Andrews, Scotland. It was shortly before the Scottish referendum on whether to remain part of the UK (or not).
The former UK ambassador says: "I worked for the British foreign office. I became a British ambassador. I was a British diplomat for 20 years. It was only six months after that I discovered that in the country where I was ambassador we and the Americans were shipping people in order for them to be tortured and some were tortured to death. Now as you may imagine my world view changed. About a month later we invaded Iraq against the will of the security council. Not just without permission of the security council, but in the full knowledge that if it had gone to the security council we would have been voted down. I as a British diplomat saw all the internal memos that went through that decision. I used to be the head of the FCO unit that monitored Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. I know for certain I can tell you they knew there weren't any. It wasn't a mistake. It was a lie... ..I've seen it on the inside. It's almost always about control of resources. ...The system stinks. Westminster stinks. British Government is deeply, deeply immoral. They don't care how many people they kill abroad if it advances them. ..[Britain is] a rogue state. A state prepared to go to war to make a few people wealthy."
