I long for late night talks
Until the break of day
The right denouement
For a day full of malady
Just the two of us
As our voices echo
Back and forth
In this room
Like our souls
bare and empty
I long for hands held tightly
Chained like metal locks
With lines in the palm of our hand
Touching
Linking our fate
I long for arms
Wrapped tightly
In airport halls
Before departure
An embrace that lasts a lifetime
Not a chance of letting go
I long for life with meaning
I long for life worth living.
