Shit Happens. How to Manage Setbacks with Style. #ManifestChallenge Day 9
Something doesn't go how you planned, or you're hit with a surprise whammy.
Setbacks can happen while visualizing, too. Your little limiting belief voice can murmur negatives in your ear, and you might think it won't work, or it'll never happen.
When life hands you the unexpected, how you handle them makes the difference in whether you will succeed and have and easier time or only make the situation more difficult.
Go easy on yourself. Setbacks happen! you are a work in progress! Acknowledge whatever the setback is, then fix it or forget it. And let it go- there's absolutely no use beating yourself up over it.
Focus on the positive. I know, it might seem hard when you're getting bombarded, but if you acknowledge all the good and positive that's happened, you'll have an easier time weathering any storm.
Be grateful. You have accomplished so much in your life! Look at where you are now! I am proud of you! Give yourself a pat on the back and be grateful for all the good things :)
Maintaining style and grace when facing setbacks will set you up for a lifetime of ease!

Agreed. Everyone should focus on positives and forget about the downs of life because every now and then shit happens.
The key is you have to be motivated towards your goals.
Keep moving toward your goals. Always have them in front of you.
Your eyes will drift from side to side. Just keep stepping forward :)

It's good and important you dedicated sime time to the negatives too. I also think being too self critical is harming. Have some mercy for yourself!
Yes, we can tend to be too hard on ourselves when things inevitably happen. We'd tell others to not be harsh, but we are so very much so sometimes! Lol- treat ourselves as we treat others ;)
I laugh at my own stupidity all the time, so I guess that rule applies !

Nicely put! Using the setback as an opportunity to study what went wrong has yielded great results in the past. Your advice to focus on the positive needs to be followed by more people. While wallowing a bit is human and understandable, the longer a person spends in that state, the more difficult it is for them to try again. They'll start to believe that everything they do will fail, defeating themselves before they start. It's sad. I wonder if that's why wallow starts with a 'w'? Too much and you weep.

What you focus on is what you receive more of. Like the proverbial ball in motion... You get what you give and you receive what you seek...
