Random Japan #28 :: Cars, Ugly Buildings, and Free Water
Welcome to another edition of Random Japan. Enjoy this latest issue!
First up... traffic!
This is the main road up into Toyota City. Yes, the city is named after the company. It is packed with cars pretty much all day. During rush hour it will be at a stand-still for hours. Imagine making that drive every morning and evening.
So I've showed you guys a few traditional houses in this series and a couple modern ones. How about other types of buildings. Man, is that an ugly building or what? This is actually a relatively common style to be found in many cities. What were they thinking...
Pretty much all parks in Japan have a water faucet somewhere on the grounds. It makes for a convenient place to wash kiddie hands after they have been playing in the dirt. Every time I visit the states, I wish parks there had faucets like this.
If you like these random photos from Japan, be sure to check out @kaliju's great Random Korea series. The latest entry there is Random Korea #14 - Rise, do and...be.

The famous person in this city was the company that led to the name of a company named and the company is carrying most of the money
Yes, the company is the most important business in the city by far. So much so that they changed the city name to match the company!
This type of building actually kinda grew on me. I don't know much about architecture but isn't this one close to what they call brutalism?
I think that's correct, yeah. It has grown on me in as far as I have gotten used to seeing it everywhere and there is a charm in that, but I still find it very ugly.
the Daily "Spotlight"!
I've been in Japan for two weeks: the most different country I've been so far.
Still have to settle my feelings about it. But about cars, buildings and water:
Cheers!
